Yes, that guy who does the music rich list was on that ITV programe last year and was harping on about how despite Rob having low sales from Rudebox, his tour helped him make £5m. Clearly this is proof they just guess because In Good Companies accounts did'nt come out untill way after. They obviously have'nt look at the account or they would see he made over £30m. I'll get the Times later this afternoon as I am interested to see Rob's write up and how he made £10m from talking a year off

It is all total nonsense. After all, I , with my amazing fortune, don't appear in it anywhere. :smoke:

As a side issue, I'm always looking for Guy Chambers name appearing on this List. If, as they say, much music dosh comes from Royalties I'd have thought he must still be raking it in.

Also, why are Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdink so high up?

Guy is not really that successful apart from Rob, and considering most of Rob's fortune comes from touring etc, it is not really suprising Guy does not feature. Tom Jones is too high really. I know he has been around for 40+ years but he has only sold about 30m records and does'nt exactly play to millions around the world as far as I am aware. Also, Cliff Richard is never featured either and he has sold 250m records apperently, so it really is a joke.

Oh he is :o He has'nt been on it in years and years  Now that I have looked at the list there are quite a few who are new. Noel and Liam for example. They have never been on it before. £45m? I would've thought they'd have alot more

How on earth is Tom Jones worth £120m more than Cliff when he has sold over 200m more and been around for over 50 years

Maybe Tom's Vegas shows were very lucrative. -_-

I've never heard of loads of people on that List. And why is David Beckham on the musicians list?

Apperently because Vicky used to pretend to be able to sing some years ago :o

Silly really as I am sure 90% of their wealth came from things nothing to do with music

Laura's Robbie album revelation

April 23 2008

Robbie William's next studio album will be a blend of his classic pop and electronic music, according to guest vocalist Laura Critchley.

The 23-year-old singer appeared on three tracks of Robbie's latest album which has been in production for a year.

"It's a cross between Rudebox and the old stuff, a bit of a mix," she said.

Robbie Williams's album could

still have some Rudebox sounds

Fans have been waiting to hear new material from the former Take That star since 2006, when he announced plans to record two new albums, but so far nothing has been released.

"I have no idea when the new album is coming out," Laura said. "It's an absolute nightmare. We thought we did know, and then we didn't."

Lucky Laura, whose debut album Sometimes I was produced by Robbie's hit man Steve Powers, met the popstar when they were introduced by a photographer.

"We all ended up going for a drink," she said. "It was just fluke that we met, but we just got on really well.

"When I was going to LA, I rang him to say I was going to be in his neck of the woods.

"He said: 'I wouldn't mind some female vocals, can you help me out? I'm very lucky and I do feel privileged.

"I love Rob to bits. I think its because we're both off our heads."

I was just thinking if that David Munchkin person wins American Idol, maybe he'll put Angels on his debut album. And then 350 million Americans will buy it. Think of the Royalties Rob would get from that

Guy might be in with a chance of being on the list then

Seriously though, I don't think Guy made a huge amount. In 'Feel' wasn't it said that Rob had to give Guy money (maybe a load) to buy a house. That was near the end (so 01-02 perhaps).

Why are Noel and Liam included together?? That means they have roughly 22 million each? That's not very much considering...

I know. And I'm guessing most of the dosh will belong to Noel as main songwriter. How many albums have Oasis sold in their career? Scotty will know.

I can only think that they've spent it all on cigarettes and whisky and wild, wild wimmin...

They have sold about the same as Rob. 50m or so, although 47-48m might be more accurate. At one point it was claimed Noel was worth £90m, but that was a long time ago. I find that almost beleivable considering Oasis were the biggest band in the world for a few years in the 90's. I recall Noel saying a while ago that he had £15m in the bank, so obviously he spend ALOT over the years

They've not really done the mega tours in recent years though. And they say that's where the dosh is these days. -_-
  • Author
They played to about 2 million on their last tour, which would've made then alot considering their record label get none of it unlike Rob.

That's discrimation! They should sue immediately. :o
