Posted April 11, 200817 yr McCartney world tour BBC 6 Music News 11 April 2008 - Sir Paul McCartney is going to go on a massive world tour this autumn. He will perform gigs in the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia. Representatives for McCartney have been meeting concert promoters around the world this month to sort out the details of the tour. During the shows, he is set to debut selections from an album's worth of new songs he has written. According to the Daily Mirror, he told pals he was helped through his divorce from Heather Mills by family and the prospect of touring again. The tour dates will also help pay back the £24million divorce payout. A friend said: "Paul's made happy by his family and music. He sees this as a kind of celebration that the messy episode with Heather is over. "Dates for the autumn are likely to be finalised next month and fans can expect to see an amazing show." The world tour dates are set to be finalised in May. Are any of you interested in seeing Paul in concert (again)?
April 12, 200817 yr Unfortunately I've never seen him in concert, ever. But I think its ok he still has the energy to want to do this, well if Mick,Keith and Co can still do it :D
April 14, 200817 yr He was okay at the Brits I suppose... Wouldn't even dream of seeing him live though...he's got little energy left, let alone stage presence and charisma.
