March 19, 201015 yr Straight To The Heart is now the title. I don't quite know how this was deemed better than Make A Scene but it will do. -_- It's an okay title I think, Make A Scene sounds gayer :kink: and better. Can't stop playing the radio edit.
March 24, 201015 yr Here is the tracklist : 1. Sophia Loren (Cathy Denis, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Christopher Rojas) 2. Revolution (Cathy Denis, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Greg Kurstin) 3. Not Giving Up On Love (Armin Buuren, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Nervo Sisters) 4. Bittersweet (Hannah Robinson, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Freemasons, Biffco) 5. Starlight (Hannah Robinson, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Richard X) 6. Off And On (Cathy Denis, Roisin Murphy, Calvin Harris) 7. Dial My Number (Hannah Robinson, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Liam Howe) 8. March 24, 201015 yr I think I'm gonna like this album more than TTLF. And that is my 4th fav. album of all time.
March 24, 201015 yr Where was this confirmed? I remember a provisional tracklist of TTLF that was similar but 3 or 4 songs on the tracklist were replaced with other songs and never heard (except 'Mr Friday', and I'm glad that didn't make it really...)
March 24, 201015 yr Well, there's a Sophie blogger that said this. I was not officialy confirmed (I should have mentioned that). He just memorized all the songs she has mentioned would be on it or what writers she said would be on the album. He said he's a bit unsure about ISBIM but he's sure about the others. http://sophieellisbextorfans.blogspot.com/...-tracklist.html
March 24, 201015 yr Thanks. :D Well even if it's not totally confirmed, it's nice to have something to go on. With the album being released after the second single I expect there'll be changes between now and then even if that is it...
March 24, 201015 yr Oo Bittersweet as track 4. Never seen a lead single that far down tracklisting! Nice to see Off & On  And an Ina track
March 24, 201015 yr I always found 'Off And On' a bit weak. It's decent enough but I could live without it, it's pretty Calvin Harris by numbers and a much lesser 'In My Arms'.
March 24, 201015 yr Sophie Ellis-Bextor has revealed more details about her forthcoming album. The singer, who recently announced her new album title as Straight To The Heart, described making the LP as "really good fun". "This album came together really nicely," she told the Daily Record. "I enjoyed myself a lot with this, it was very relaxed. I worked with some people I have worked with loads of times before. "There's a girl called Hannah I've written a lot with, Caty Dennis, Greg Kurstin – good pop pedigree people." The 30-year-old also told the story behind the album's title, which was originally called Make A Scene. "There's a song on the album I wrote with Ed Harcourt and it's called 'Cut Straight To The Heart Of Me', so I chose it from that." Ellis-Bextor revealed another album track, called 'Dial My Number', which she described as a song about "someone who has been stalking me by text [message]". Straight To The Heart will be released in July. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a21...um-details.html
March 24, 201015 yr Oo Bittersweet as track 4. Never seen a lead single that far down tracklisting! Nice to see Off & On  And an Ina track  I think he just randomly put the tracks in an order... But I hope Bittersweet won't be 1. on the album. 4. is actually a good spot for Bittersweet.
March 24, 201015 yr Ahh yea would make sense if he just ordered them himself :kink: New publicity shot: http://i40.tinypic.com/2qwlefl.jpg
March 24, 201015 yr Oo Bittersweet as track 4. Never seen a lead single that far down tracklisting! 'Fight For This Love'. :kink:
March 26, 201015 yr I have never been so excited about a release of an album so it better doesn't disappoint me. :P
March 26, 201015 yr Ahh yea would make sense if he just ordered them himself :kink: New publicity shot: http://i40.tinypic.com/2qwlefl.jpg  She's so damn beautiful.
March 26, 201015 yr Judging by the tracklist I can see (or feel) that a lot of them are big dancefloor numbers. :D
March 27, 201015 yr I think I'm gonna like this album more than TTLF. And that is my 4th fav. album of all time. I made this tracklist... March 27, 201015 yr If you guys need some more details, here you go Revolution is a nice fuzzy electro pop number produced by Greg Kurstin again. It name checks Murder On The Dancefloor, according to Sophie. Which probably means there's self referencing happening in this song. Kinda like Lady GaGa's Monster where she says "I wanna JUST DANCE" Not Giving Up On Love is a fairground dance anthem. Someone who has heard the song already confirms that its chorus is massive. The rest of the song is very melodic, very Sophie. Dial My Number is the danciest song on the album. Make A Scene has a difficult rhythm, its a grower. You can say its like the You Get Yours of shoot from the hip, not sonically, but theoritically. It's going to be the "what the f**k" moment on the album. Magic was recorded when Off & On and Heartbreak were recorded, its an older song.
March 27, 201015 yr Judging by what I heard so far, Sophia Loren should be the next single if the record company is smart enough to keep the momentum going.
