Well, I have the day off tomorrow.

That's a nice thought. We tried to get my father-in-law into a day centre as it'd make life a lot easier but, he hated it. He wouldn't talk to anyone, couldn't hear what anyone said and kept trying to get to the door. We'd like some whole mornings or afternoons off.

I MUST get some new tapes.

I must get that recorder. I've been saying it for nearly a year and every time I have the money something else comes up or like last week, it's not in the shop.

I keep wondering about getting one of those.

I can't find any other recorders within my budget which record from Video to Dvd.

 

I've got so many short pieces of treasured moments on 3/4 hr video tapes. I don't see any point in buying another Video Recorder to edit them. It makes more sense to edit them to a DVD.

I have no idea how that works though. Do they use normal dvd -/+ to record on?

I'm pretty sure it does.

It makes it cheaper that you can use the same ones as you can on the pc.

That's a sore point of contention. I've always been rubbish at burning anything on the PC.

One day when I have time, I ought to transfer all my tapes to my computer.

Then you could burn me a copy. What a brilliant idea.

One day when I work out how to do it and can find the time.

Oh well, that's never isn't it? Time is always in short supply.

I need to clone myself so my clone can go into work and do the housework while I spend time doing what I want. You could do the same and have your clone attend to your father in law while you were having fun. Does anyone have a magic wand to hand?

well, there you go, one deception after another.

 

The flats down the road have been badley damaged by fire. The road is completely blocked, all the roofs are burnt through. Rumour has it that a couple of kids have been arrested on suspision of arson. Thet had a grudge against someone who lived there, apparently. The whole town is buzzibf with such an unlikely thing to happen here.
