Never mind, I'm sure the garden party will compensate. You'll be at the wedding in spirit.

Is this April 1st? In the news, the Norwegian Kings Guard have solemnly knighted a penguin, Big Foot is being brought

home in a freezer, and Batman has brought traffic to a halt by climbing an M25 road sign.

...and we had standing traffic from 20-18 on M6...but as Meg said the wedding dress and all the correct bits are now with Stephanie

Stephen has his waist coat and tie

We had a lovely meal, then I spent time with Stephanie before coming to my room.....Stephen is snoring...whilst I am typing

Aeroplanes are coming along the flight path....Nina and Meg will know the meaning to me of that :)

I shall now think about going to bed........

Thank you to everyone for their kind thoughts :D

Hope you're sleeping now Pam. Forget about those planes
She's got me looking up at them all the time - and living half way between Gatwick and Heathrow, mt neck aches.
watch the clouds instead, Meg
And daydream, if you can find the time.

Oh dear, Casualty has finished till its next run. Dear Charlie, the saviour of every situation, what would they do without

him! The whole hospital would grind to a halt without him.....and he is only the Charge Nurse!!!

But now we have the joy? of Xfactor! Don't think I'll bother.

Neither of those appeal. I think I'll just get my father-in-law ready for beed and then go there myself.
How did the garden party go? Or didn't you go?
About 40-45 people , good weather and they really enjoyed it. I'm shattered. Thank goodness I had my 13 yr old to act as waitress. that one could charm the birds from the trees.
Glad the party went well Meg and everyone enjoyed it. No wonder you're shattered. Hope all your hard work was appreciated.
I'd employ that waitress again.
I intend to. You'd hardly recognise her now, Nina. Just since her 13th she's just not stopped growing ( still only about 5'3" but doesn't look like a young child anymore)
They suddenly seem to grow up all at once, don't they.
It's scary how suddenly they are no longer little girls. I look at Hayley, who's 15 and think the same. Keep her close as long as you can. Both of mine are away this weekend and I'm missing them like hell. Can't wait for tomorrow when Hayley is home again.

Then they come home and are tired and bad tempered and you'll have to wait until the next day for normality.
