The colours gone on my laptop LCD screen. I find it really annoying but I want to back up all my files before I risk getting it repaired and I can't remember how to do it.

What are you backing them up to?

 

You can of course just copy them to where ever - usb stick, CD, external hard drive.

I'd need 300gb it back up mine.

back onto downloading.. on WOS tv there is a window up on th vieo clip, whihc says download video, you click on that and the realplayer download manager window opens and you can download the video, its the one of all the celebs etc on opening night a little clip of the finale too on that clip.

odd, rather a long box with the real player log in it, saying "download this video" apears across the top of the video clip when I went to the page

Dave hasn't got real-player - and doesn't want it. I don't have the internet.

I don't get that. I think something else must be blocking my real player. I've got TV on this PC so I don't know if some of the settings on that could clash.

When I read all what you are saying, its all double dutch to me. computer savvy Im not.

All you need to know is that downloads don't seem to work for everyone. Unfortunately, I'm one of them. You need internet access for most -, if I use this pc, I'd have to add programs that Dave doesn't want.
