Electricity is a terrible thing in the wrong way

Perhaps he will be able to pull something from his tragedy and help others.....as well as himself.

And still boys will be boys. Now another has lost his life with the collapse of a tunnel dug into sand dunes.

We used to do that when we were kids. The tunnels were great and we had bigger spaces between them where we could meet. It stopped when they collapsed and someone was killed.

We did the same with the bales of hay. It never dawned on us how dangerous it was and no one ever said anything.

We made a fantastic tree house from lopped off branches. We weren't hurt, but we were absolutely covered

with insect bites.

The wall climbing stopped when the boy best at it fell the equivalent of 3 stories onto concrete. He was the best at that too. No one climbed the sheer wall again. It's a wonder any of us survived the things we did.
My best friend used to risk her life on live rails and came inches from being hit by a train. The boys she was with don't know how she avoided it.
And some kids are driven by peer pressure.

I hadn't realised that David Tennant's Hamlet was a modern day presentation with cocktail parties and

chandeliers. Receiving good reviews apparently.

I don't like Shakespeare in modern dress. It seems so absurd when they are speaking in Elizabethan language.

And if they transpose it into modern language, all the poetic beauty of the words is lost.

I haven't seen enough to form an opinion....I would just have liked to have seen it
The Henry 4th prt 1 I saw where the scenery fell down on top of them was hilarious. My ribs ached.
Is my computer reading correctly......it says 21 users, 18 guests and 3 anonymous users !!!!!!!!!

Could be - some of the 18 guests could be bots (google etc search engines) and with the 3 anonymous users, that makes 21.

There's only me here now.
