I think I'll cry

I've been watching the opening of the Olympic Games........spectacular! Can't imagine how London can possibly

even match this, let alone top it. The song was beautiful, so fitting and so moving.Such is the power of music.

(Or at least, some music.) That song would have been great on its own, but in that setting it was superb. And the

hand movement dove flight was so graceful and far kinder than the release of live doves, many of which would

have been incinerated if they had perched on the edge of the Bird's Nest, with all the fireworks. Our young diver's

face was a picture! To have such an experience at the age of fourteen must have been fantastic.

I'm avoiding the Olympics

Next week this time my daughter will be married :o

Im not avoiding the Olympics, love it.Especially love the gymnastics but really l,ove it all.

I like gymnastics and the swimming/diving

I'm not into that at all. Make sure you have a big, white umbrella and then it wont rain.

Without the downpour we got after it. It's been raining lightly here for about an hour. Luckily the washing was dry.
