Another day, BT. I know some people who are as daft as I am. I also have a husband who has given me extra Darius money.

When Darius was in Chicago and Guys and Dolls, I could look at my watch when I wasn't there and know exactly what he was doing. I'd kind of like to get to that stage with GWTW as well. Without a DVD I have to try to lock it into my mind.

There's a lot more happening in GWTW. Not having seen it the same twice, I'd have no idea at the moment. Yes I would, he'll have just found out he frankly, doesn't give a damn
I didn't get that bit in the review which says he turns to the audience to say it. Surely on an almost round stage he's facing some part of the audience pretty much all of the time?

He says it standing facing Scarlett then turns and walks off intop the audience. (I think)

intop, of course, is really into

That makes sense.

I had visions of a Frankie Howard style aside to the audience and just thought "tacky"

he said it to Scarlett when we saw it, how odd if he had said it to the audience..LOL..titter ye not..

Watch Darius on the wos tape at the finale. He's obviously singing making eye contact with an individual down the front and also making sure he sings to the circle and draw those people in, just as he does in concerts.
I like watching him when he's so engrossed in the story that he's living it. I'm so pleased that most people have appreciated just how good he is.
they were good at that, Jill looked at me at some point when she was up close on the stage, and I am sure Darius did on one occasion as he passed in front, during the upbeat scenes and after th eshow hubby reckoned he had got a wink and beaming smile in the finale from Jill, when they were all singing and clappingbut then that could have been wishful thinking LOL

Andrew and myself absolutely loved the show on Saturday I didn't know if I was looking forward to seeing it, of course I couldn't wait to see Darius.

We walked up the stairs and it is WOW as you look around, the show was far better than I was imagining and it kept our attention right through.

I liked all the songs but the part when Bonnie died Oh my I couldn't hold back the tears it was so real, what fantastic acting we would both definitely go again.

I got to see Darius before he went in then saw him after the show, (photos not that good as usual) some one asked if his other half would be there in the evening he said probably after the show to which the lady replied I mean Jill Oh He said sorry I laughed thinking oh lucky man 2 other halfs :D

that sounds like just like me, wasnt sure if I would like the actual show, tjhought hubby would probably fall asleep -but wanted to see Darius - but on walking in hubby and I were WOW too, and spent the time before the show started looking around and pointing out bits of the set..(I was also looking for a group of noisy girls who had stood next to us in the bar, I was thnking..jeesh I left some at home to escape this!LOL)..they luckily went and sat in the dress circle by the picket fence..having siad that, they were quiet as mouses through the show, and at the end the whole group were on their feet cheering, arms in the air! I can't beleive we actually loved it so much, I seemed to have been swept up in the emotion of the show, I tried explaining the Bonny bit to parents yesterday, as the had seen that clip on This Morning.. - still got choked up and had to stop..the show really did move me

I do hope to try to catch D next time though, I was talking to husband about it and he said if he'd thouhg we could have waited - as it took ten minutes to get out of the theatre anyway!

yes, the women were so close to us, on their knees in that song and they really were holding back tears, almost crying, I caught one of their eyes and I found myself holding desperately back a tear
