One of my fave tracks from the 80s, wicked tune.

yeah?.. tell me!!!... pleaSE m8 :)

i like ss... hes cool, if not a druggy..

shagged him in '88 :P .. and he has the smallest dick I've ever seen. Like a button mushroom! Awful - and he's absolutely vile, too - the big "I am".

Plus - he still owes me a fiver and a pair of socks!

I like this one Rob got me into it, well he wanted me to compare this and Kelly O's singel....Liked it from there...

LOL @ Russt :)

in fairness, it IS probablyh one of the best 80s singles.

Also wrth checking is The Anvil, Visage's second album which is fantastic.

Is this that song Kelly Osbourne's 'One Word' ripped off?

I don't believe I've heard this before, but I really like it. I'm loving the whole electro pop thing going on, definitely 80s at it's best.

Visage - Fade To Grey, Awesome! :)

Speaking of whom, it's his birthday today - 47 years old!

Happy Birthday Steve!

1959, Born on this day, Steve Harrington (Steve Strange), vocals, Visage,

1981 UK No.8 single, 'Fade To Grey'.

........ fade to grey peaked though in 81, it only entered the charts in late '80 as in them days records used to climb the charts and not enter at its highest position as todays do.

so for me it was a 1981 hit, not a 1980..

I've noticed a few errors from time to time on the thisdayinmusic site. Didn't notice that one.

Thanks for pointing it out.

im used to it happening, pop quizes often say " uk group, second hit, a number 1 in '65' when refering to spencer davis group 'keep on running'. a classic mistake as it entered in '65 but peaked late january. same for 'albatross'... and many others.... brass in pocket is often called 'a number one from 79'... when in fact it was the first new number 1 from the eighties.
