May 13, 200817 yr Author let's see how I'm doing with this then, a month after I made my predictions I would say these all have a slim to large chance at topping the UK chart or at least going top 5 and the reasons why I think this: Madonna - 4 Minutes Obviously next week's No.1 if it doesn't do it by this Sunday Wiley - Wearing My Rolex No.1 on iTunes video chart, plus it screams 'surprise hit' Will.I.Am feat Cheryl Cole - Heartbreaker The version without Cheryl is doing well, the version with her should do far better Wideboys feat Shaznay Lewis - Daddy O could it be the last big garage hit following T2 and H 'Two' O, it usually goes in three's Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown - No Air doing well with no promo, imagine how well it will do with a video & airplay Ting Tings - That's Not My Name Has top 5 written all over it, much better than Great DJ Duffy - Warwick Avenue might scrape the top 5 but will push her album sales back up Sara Bareilles - Love Song No.44 on iTunes pop chart with zero promo, plus its the best track of 2008 in my opinion Ricki-Lee - Can't Touch It Being released on Hard2Beat, enough said... Rihanna - Take A Bow not on the album, it will appeal to the Unfaithful fans and should go low top 5 Andy Abraham - Even If BBC will be promoting the hell out of it this time next month, if he comes anywhere other than last and gives a good performance it could scrape to No.5 and if it does come last he'll get the sympathy buy Usher - Love In This Club will be top 5 next week and then top 3 the week after... Madonna - was a big No.1 hit :cheer: Wiley - big No.2 hit :cheer: Will.I.Am feat Cheryl Cole - top 5, looks like it could be a long runner too! :cheer: Wideboys feat Shaznay Lewis - oh dear, where did it all go wrong :nocheer: Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown - can't tell yet  Ting Tings - heading for No.1 or No.2 at the very least :cheer: Duffy - could go low top ten eventually...might not go top five now but who knows!?! Sara Bareilles - seems to be climbing slowly upwards...I still hope this will go top 5 at some point :D Ricki-Lee - Its been switched from Hard2Beat to HedKandi...not sure that this will do anything now... Rihanna - well low top five was an underrestiamtion! Andy Abraham - who knows, I guess we'll find out after Eurovision...flopping on downloads at the moment though... Usher - went to No.4 I got most of the right, some of the others either aren't far off or we don't know yet...only Wideboys I was way off with, and probably Ricki-Lee
May 13, 200817 yr Ting Tings That's Not My Name Could be this weeks No1, but likely to be the first one week No1 of 2008 if it holds on Rihanna Take A Bow If she doesn't overhaul the Ting Tings' this week she'll certainly be No1 next week with the physical release could be No1 for 4-5 weeks. Ne-Yo Closer Gonna be one of the biggest selling singles of 2008 but will it have enough to last until the end of June to get to No1 when the physical is released?! If the record company had done some big promotion with 2 weeks out on download only then released the physical I think it could have had >8 weeks at No1. However I think this could have been and gone at No1 on downloads alone by the time the physical gets released! Basshunter Please Don't Go It's released on Hard2Beat top5 nuff said, although it sounds samey to Now You're Gone I wouldn't underestimate this one KWS took it to No1 for 5 weeks in 1992. I'd say there was potential for a shock summer No1 there. Edited May 13, 200817 yr by ej87
May 14, 200817 yr Author do you really think Basshunter will go top five with that...I guess it's not an impossible thing to happen after the string of hit singles that Cascada had... its just such a cheap song from Basshunter which sounds like Now You're Gone part 2
May 14, 200817 yr Obviously Closer will be a future hit for Ne-Yo but i also think No Air will do very well too. Whilst maybe not top 5 i think Pocketful of Sunshine could do very well for Natasha Bedingfield aswell
