May 20, 200817 yr I am a Lib Dem person, or rather was, until they got all silly with the backstabbing. Plenty of time for my cross to stay yellow ;) I reckon the biggest mistake the Lib Dems made was stabbing Charles Kennedy in the back after he gave the Lib Dems their best election victory in bloody DECADES... So the bloke had a bit of a drinking problem.. SO WHAT, so did Churchill ffs.... Didn't stop him from leading the country to victory against Hitler did it.....? Tw@ts, they really shot themselves in the foot, and who did they replaced Kennedy with, Ming Campbell??? Yeah, he sure was a vote winner for them, wasn't he...? And now this new bloke... Clegg is it...? Comes across like a right tosser....
May 20, 200817 yr Exactly what I thought... The Tories invented "Stealth Taxes" and the rises in VAT which hit the poorest hardest were all of her doing, as well as the Poll Tax.. Privatising Public Companies has also led to obscene rises in water/gas/electricity/phone bills, which also hits the poor... Deregulating Public Transport has led to similar increases in bus/rail fares, and we still have to bail the useless shower of b/astards that call themselves Network Rail out to the tune of £6 billion quid...... No, the Tories started this sh1t..... Nu Labor have just done nothing about it, which is just as bad though..... The scrapping of 10p rate of tax is beyond contempt as well... As Frank Field said "I didn't join the Labour Party to make the poor in society worse off...". Spot on mate... I'd vote for this bloke, he sounds like a real Labour man to me..... All hopes of a decent Labour government for me died when John Smith died. Still, as bad as everyone thinks Brown is - if the poor (of which I am one) think they'll be better off with Cameron and his cronies in power - they'll be sadly dismayed. I think I'll stick with Labour for now. Norma
May 20, 200817 yr I'm ever so grateful I don't live in England. I probably wouldn't even bother voting if the only choice I had was Nu Labour, the Tories or the Lib Dems :(

I think I'll stick with Labour for now. While I certainly agree that those who put their faith in the Tories are just fooling themselves (which those who voted for that clown Boris Johnson will find out pretty soon I reckon..), I find it a bit depressing that you're prepared to give Nu Labor another chance to make an even bigger mess of things.... Like I say, I think it's about time to give the other guys a go....

Like I say, I think it's about time to give the other guys a go.... I'm afraid nothing whatsoever could induce me to vote Conservative. I would consider a change to Lib/Dem, but where I live - Labour are fairly safe but unfortunately the Tories are in second position. So a tactical vote to Lib / Dem from me and others like me would only let the Conservatives in! Norma
May 21, 200817 yr Why the hell would you want the Tories in power...? Have you forgotten the 18 years in which they completely fukked up this country...? Why the hell does Politics in this country have to be about the same hoary, corrupt two old parties.....? Utter bollocks if you ask me... Time for a real change in this country surely, Labour and Tory have had enough chances to mess things up... There are only two parties who can realistically win an election. The Lib-Dems are nobodies and always will be. They won't form a Government in a million years. Should just disband if you ask me. Wasted votes.

Should just disband if you ask me. Wasted votes. Lame attitude.... -_- They certainly wont win if people dont stop thinking in terms of there being NO OTHER OPTION.... There IS another option..... Of course the Meeedjaahhhhhh wants to spin the lie that there isn't a third way as well, and the vicious circle just keeps going.... Things are never gonna change in this country if people just keep voting for the same corrupt b/astards every time..... British two-party "Democracy" is just bullsh!t.....
May 23, 200817 yr Author What a great Tory result in Crewe And Nantwich. Landslide for Cameron in 2010. that doesnt always equate, tbh i dont know whos worse, bumbling brown and his clowns, or boy wonder cameron (toryboy anyone?...lol) who i suspect is just a bag of hot air.
