If Darius were going to collaborate with another artist, either writing, performing or both, who would you like it to be?

 

I would love to see him and Tony Hadley singing together :) They both have great voices, and I would love to see it :)

 

Writing wise, I would love D to co-write with Bernie Taupin, and if that Elton bloke wanted to record the song with him I wouldn't mind either :D

 

I have lots of others, who I would love to see with D, but who would you like to see him collaborate with?

I'll get back to you. I'm finding it hard to think about this one because I think I'd rather have 100% acoustic Darius then any collaboration.

First thought - Anastacia

 

Why? Because I like her ...she's got a great voice and she can sing all kinds of songs too.

 

Darius would be able to use the depth and power of his voice if that's what the song required or use his upper range and/or falsetto to complement the smoother Anastacia on a more emotional song. i think they'd sound good together.

I have never really liked Anastasia myself, though I think she has a really powerful voice. I would like D to perform with Madonna, I think that could be quite interesting> I would love him to perform with Mel C(not sure if it's C or B but Sporty Spice as she once was) as I love the tone of her voice :)

So long as it was a proper duet.

 

I absolutely hate all those "so and so ft so and so" or "so and so versus so and so" cds.

I did like Tony hadleys voice in the eighties, one of the few I did like.

I would love Darius to collaborate with someone who had lots of credibility - so the meems could get working.

meems - the way humans work LOL, following others influences as to what is good and what isnt cool and why suddenly things become popluar after being given enough pr, copycat tendencies of the human ( I call it the emperors new clothes syndrom too) do you watch the program what makes humans human? very enlightening.

Sorry, no..... it's new to me.

Tony's got a good voice and I'm sure his and Darius's voices would complement each other. They seemed to get on well enough when they did Greasemania. Trouble is Tony is considered 'uncool'.

 

I was so glad it was Tony who drew the short "Beauty School Drop Out" (can't recall the proper title) and not Darius. I don't think there's anything he could have done with that other than what Tony did - sing it with tongue very firmly in cheek.

Been thinking about this and performance wise I would go for Shakira. They would make a great looking video and she is also a good performer and he has appeared supporting her before.

Writing wise I would go for Daniel bedingfield (loved if your not the one) and elton john (loved the song he wrote from the lion king which was played as Darius left pop idol and he has great deal of experience.Having said that think that what Darius has written himself alone has been great if it got a hearing i.e the b sides and also the work he has done with Pete genister and deni lew.

I didn't even notice any music...the thing I remember is Cyrus going to him and Darius picking him up and wiping his tears.....brings a lump to my throat now thinking about it. Bless little Cyrus he was so upset.

To be quite honest so am I.

so am I - I really don't like any solo artists at present much, I would just love to hear darius :wub: :cry:

I think Darius would sound good duet ting with a female voice, dont you think? His deep tone say with Delta or Natalie Imbrulia? A nice sounding female voice rather then a hard one like Kelly or Anastasia?

 

I have to say, we had lots of duets from Gareth with different females and I love them all. :D

Katherine Jenkins. He'd kick butt with all those fancy songs from opera and musicals.
