June 1, 200619 yr Let me get this straight - I like the list of bands you made... but the point is to have something a bit more 'pop' for the pedestrians. nearly half the people at glasto at workers don't forget... My main point is headliners on any of 4 stages that I don't like makes my life easy as I've had some tough choices in the past... Wacken metal, M'Era Luna and Treffen seem a bit heavy for my tastes these days... though I was a big Industrial/Goth fan as a kid. Last time at Benicassim I caught Eisterzend Neubauten (spelling from memory) and was very good!

Sod the pedestrians, why do they have to bring Glasto down to their level.....? Kylie does her own big stadium tours, they can sod off to that and leave Glasto to the people who really respect music. Besides, I dont wanna be sharing a field with a bunch of bloody chavs..... In the past I've run between the two main stages if there were two bands on that I liked, couple of songs by band X, then go over and see a couple by band Y... :lol: :lol: That's what it should be like, being spoiled for choice.....

Look, the 'idiots' have got the bloody T4 "Beach Party" thing in Weston Supermare and stuff like Creamfields, and all the other rather middle-of-the-road festis like 02 and V... Glasto is meant to be something unique and special.... Mind you, not that it really has been since Vince Power got his claws into it..... <_<

Smacked ever so slightly of emotional manipulation..... 'tears in heaven'... was truely awful... but to hear him at his best, i reckon his period 1966-7 was his best... john mayalls bluesbreakers and cream.

Glasto is something unique and special and 2-3 headline bands you (and I) happen to disagree with doesn't change it... the pyramid stage is simply one that won't have much of what we want. there are 30+ other stages to choose from so can't we move on now?! :D

Basement Jaxx and Coldplay were bad enough, but, I'm sorry, but Kylie, Clapton and Dire Straits is just going too far for me. The involvement of Power's Mean Fiddler organisation has turned it into just another festival.....
