April 23, 200817 yr Would the disqalification discussion be The Script? Offered free on a certain download site>As you plan to do a new Saturday chart this week, to replace mrib etc, will you include it anyway Dave?
April 23, 200817 yr Ashlee Simpson is also on the edge, of top 40 entry, neck and neck with Fall Out Boy. Aah the plot thickens, Ashlee could be the missing track from today's update at #40
April 24, 200817 yr Ooh the Hoosiers are in there, makes me think who is at No.40 in the official chart, as No.40 is missing, could be The Hoosiers
April 24, 200817 yr Author Ooh the Hoosiers are in there, makes me think who is at No.40 in the official chart, as No.40 is missing, could be The Hoosiers As I didn`t see the mids you had today Mart!n, it`s hard to say. I was thinking Ashlee, or Sugababes around the 40 position? This info from the chart panels, that go straight to radio stations computers, seems to suggest the number 40 from Thursday`s mids would be around number 33, on the chart without Downloads without a physical release.
April 24, 200817 yr Author Would the disqalification discussion be The Script? Offered free on a certain download site>As you plan to do a new Saturday chart this week, to replace mrib etc, will you include it anyway Dave? At the moment Brian, it look`s like the Script will be allowed to enter Sunday`s countdown. On my new chart (late tomorrow), if ever there is a disqualification by OCC, it will not be disqualified on my chart mate. Sometimes OCC`s rules are rather tough, I reckon! For instance when Milward Brown do the research, for the OCC, all the disqualified tracks, are researched and in. It is just OCC, that overrules the decision, on disqualified songs. What I`m gonna do tomorrow night, is to do the thread over 5 hours, or so. Trevs, will do some of it i.e. the vintage chart sounds of 1980 this week. He will start with the album top 20 (complete with compilation albums). He will also list the film, and dvd charts. Then I will come along, for the final 3 hours, and list ten tracks every 20 minutes or so, of the DTRT (that`s Dave Taylor`s Research Team) top 50! Catchy ay?! It will be a chart with added up to the minute sales info (mainly updated from the ever growing sales of downloads) integrated from a chart, that will appear over the weekend, on Chartshow TV. But our chart, will be more ahead and exclusive to Buzzjack. A own grown compiled top 50, you might say. It will include sales estimates taken from shops, that still sale physical singles, as well as biggest download sales, from all the download sites. Effectively, the most up to the minute chart (on a Friday night). And it will not include any airplay only nonsense. Edited April 24, 200817 yr by davetaylor

How in reality, will it be close to the Radio one chart? I mean will it come close, or will there be a remarkable difference, like the Next Week Chart thread?
April 24, 200817 yr Author I will look forward to see it tomorrow Dave. How in reality, will it be close to the Radio one chart? I mean will it come close, or will there be a remarkable difference, like the Next Week Chart thread? It will be as close to Radio One, as possible. The Next Week Chart, is pretty good really, but the physical sales, all come from HMV these days, so it is biased, on that score. As in this week, the Feeling, and Funkerman were knocking about the HMV top ten, on Monday. As, the Feeling`s downloads are practicallt nil, we had to estimate more info, and so messed up the chart a tiny bit!
