I don't think it matters whether there are 25, 27 or 29 songs. I think we should do the final right away and not waste time for the semifinal. I mean there are 25 finalists in this years ESC also so I'd say if there are less than 30 participants, we should scrape the semifinal. And if there is a sudden late surge in participants to over 30 I think the semifinal should be among all the songs not qualified for the final and then a 24/25 song final. One good suggestion mentioned above is that the thread is closed now, let the two participants that haven't chosen songs yet to have time up till tomorrow to do so and then do the final with or without them.

eurovision usually has 24-25 entries. Bringing it down to 20 would only get rid of countries that would deserve to be there(and you've seen it yourself, most songs this time around are very good standard ^_^ )

Both making alot of sense. It's not looking like we'll have 30 countries anyways, or even 28 for that matter, so full steam ahead for the final me thinks!

It's good to see that you finally made a decision. :lol: I just gave this a listen and I really like it, I was only familiar with 'Kiss Kiss' from her. It should get some points from me, there are so many good songs though.

 

I don't think we need a semi-final now. We should wait for the last country to confirm and if anyone else who wants to play they will have to wait until next month. If the latest date for the final is the 11th then I think the final voting should open as soon as possible. I haven't heard every song yet and our votes have to be sent in a few days, we need as long as possible to vote in my opinion.
