Iron maiden have announced European dates for there next world tour for their 14th studio album. The album will be released this autumn with the tour starting around the same period. Writing the material has finished and the guys are now working hard with Kevin Sherley to record and mix the yet untitled album.

Opening for Maiden will be up coming American metal band Trivium.

Sounds much promising. Trivium supporting is always a good call.

I'm hoping to go to 2 venues on the tour, bloody loved seeing them doing all the old classics at last years Reading festival.

 

but i aint much of fan of Trivium, i think it's the shouting and the last few songs on Ascendancy sound abit same (Dying in your arms is a great track though)

I'd be tempted to get to the Earl's Court gig, should be a good one.

:o they were so awesome! i'll always remember it (not only the first time to a festival but first time seeing Maiden), top quality i loved every song they played, i can't wait to see them again.
