November 1, 200816 yr Author I suggest Joss Stone - Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now for BJSC XII  I'm really unsure how she would do now. She's really love/hate on BuzzJack so it's a bit of a risk and maybe not the good type of risk. :heehee: I just feel it could be our first non-qualifier, though this advice is coming from the person with the best record in the contest.
November 1, 200816 yr Author Do not enter that cow. Tyron speaks nonsense. :heehee: This is exactly my point. On a random note, I was rather surprised to hear "You'll Find A Way" being used on an advert tonight. It was only for some phone thing, I doubt it will be around long. -_-
November 2, 200816 yr No one will pick up on it anyway. If it's not advertising iTunes or a well known song in the first place an advert rarely does that much anyway.... 'Creator' was used for hair gel or something earlier in the year, did nothing though. :(

I was just a bit hopeful because the advert says the title of the song, I think it was for some kind of Nokia Download thing.
November 2, 200816 yr Author You should enter Laura Marling, Aaron. :o I'm guessing you can see that I'm listening to her album now rather than it being an odd coincidence? Yeah, I was considering her actually. After I found out I liked 'Night Terror' I had to download her album and I love it. It's just a bit hard to find a BJSC-friendly song.

I was looking on last.fm and I saw you listening to it yeah lol. There are some BJ friendly songs, possibly 'Ghosts', 'The Captain and the Hourglass' and maybe even 'Night Terror' though I think 'Ghosts' would be your best option. :P

November 3, 200816 yr Enter "The Captain and the Hourglass" - my fave off the album  Or any song really - i adore the album so much that it even spent 9 weeks at No.1 of my chart :kink:

I think 'Ghosts' is the most 'exciting' song she has, the whole album is good but some of them are a bit laid back that they might not stand out. She could end up like Lenka/Sara Bareilles or like Colbie Caillat/Dido. -_- I need to pick the right song. And by the way change the despription of this Topic KINK Yes Sir. Support Bev. :D Edited November 3, 200816 yr by Aaron™
November 3, 200816 yr TBH when i first heard Ghosts i thought it was terrible and didn't want to download the album to listen what shit she does actually sings :o But when i was in the country at my grandmother's i fell in love with the album i downloaded a few weeks before. I did skip Ghosts song all the time :heehee: Now i regret i haven't charted it, this will be in my Year End Chart tho anyway :D Any Laura's song is best for me ;D

I need to find a song all the Laura fans will like. So far it seems to be three for 'Ghosts', one for 'Captain And The Hourglass' and one for 'Failure'. I think 'Failure' is my favourite but 'Ghosts' sounds like it has most potential in this.
November 3, 200816 yr 'Ghosts' or 'New Romantic' are my favourites. Unless the standard is back to X then I'd say almost anything off the album would be in my top 10.
November 3, 200816 yr Ghosts is the only song I like off the album really. And tbh, it wouldn't get high points from me since I was obsessed with it last December, a bit old for me now. It'd be your best bet, I think though. ;o

November 15, 200816 yr S&M Tour Hits Quotosibb The Kingdom of Shadow's S&M Tour came to Quotosibb last night as headlined by Margaret Berger and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. This was always going to be a huge performance with Quotosibb having scored a total of 41 points from the great Kingdom since they joined the contest in BJSC VI. They'll be hoping the Shadowan's love for Quotosibb music will be returned over the coming week as nominations for the 'Best of BJSC: The Rejects' close soon making this an especialy important night for Sophie Ellis-Bextor who is in contention with her song 'Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer'. And so Sophie took to the stage first for an amazing live performance of her hit single 'Catch You'. Next up Margaret Berger performed her winning single 'Will You Remember Me Tomorrow' which, along with Quotosibb's Beverley Knight and the other BJSC winners, will have an automatic passage into the Best of BJSC I-X final. Finally Sophie returned to close the show with 'HMMAD', Quotosibb have had all of their entries qualify (well done!) so no entries are eligable for The Rejects but that doesn't make their votes any less important come the voting for the show. Catch You: qKSMWzkrZO8 Will You Remember Me Tomorrow? BTadHERzpLc Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer cx7s86RHSII The next leg of the S&M Tour sees Sophie and Margaret in Bare and Naked Gardens - Dont miss it!
