Clearly I thought the R&B/Pop was the best this month and actually the other genres seemed weaker than usual. I'd never vote for any from 21-27 and 17-20 would only be considered for points in the weakest of contests. I could have probably voted for the top 16 though.

Thanks for commenting. Yeah, I think "Salt Air" has more to it than "Cryptic", it's hard not to be singing it after a while.

Yeah, it just missed out on points in the semi and then grew and just missed out in the final. :(

Haha, I think he's considering Sound Of Arrows, which I expect you like. Plus, "Salt Air" might not make the final even. I think I'm just unsure because "Solo" was very touch and go about qualifying when I was hosting. I do think "Salt Air" is better than it though, "Solo" was pretty much the same lyrics repeated, while this seems like it could have more appeal to the Pop voters.

 

I'm just stuck for entries (unless I manage to get Guetta) so I thought I'd go for something in my chart that was less likely to be cheap.

Well "We Keep On Rockin'" finished near the bottom of my rankings too, Alcazar just aren't for me. :( Especially after I'd seen it being called one of the best Pop songs of the year. I just had to laugh when I heard it.
