I despise re-releases of albums just to pointlessly increase sales of a failure of an album but here comes another one :drama:

I highly doubt that this is the official cover or tracklisting really but a re-release is very likely. Worth a look I thought ;)

From this 'Fight For It' seems to be the only new track other from the new version of 'If I Never See Your Face Again' of course, rather pointless?

It really depends how you look at it. To the causal buyer there are more new tracks than just Fight For It and If I Never See Your Face Again. I suppose you could count Figure It Out and Wake Up Call.

True, but if you are a true collecter and a "maniac" :heehee: you wouldn't mind having this one too

For people like us, it is just for the packaging :P

Curious about Fight For It though, I hope it is real. Apparently there might be a couple more hip hop themed songs on the same lengths as Heard Em Say :o

:o Just now noticed that "Wake Up Call Mark Ronson edit" :o

Maroon 5 Album Set For June Re-Release

An article on Billboard.com reports some new information about the Rihanna collaboration and the upcoming re-release of the album:

New single "If I Never See Your Face Again" will be available on iTunes the first week of May, then released to radio the week after.

It Won't Be Soon Before Long will be re-released in late June with bonus material.

The article also features some quotes from James Diener, the president of Maroon 5's record label A&M/Octone.

On the decision to remix the song with Rihanna: "Adam thought it would be amazing to make the song into a 'battle of the sexes'-style duet, and she was the first person they thought of."

Why the album is being re-released: "It is an opportunity for them to give existing fans more material and new fans that don't have the record a value-added piece. The bonus content keeps fans enthused."

Very very good! Late June is much more like it and definitely gives time for some good promotion. I definitely like the fact If I Never See Your Face again will be available from next week :w00t:.
