Posted April 29, 200817 yr Police in child sex ring inquiry One victim said she was introduced to a man on the internet A major police inquiry is under way after a BBC investigation revealed a paedophile ring thought to be targeting schoolgirls in West Yorkshire. One former victim said up to 50 girls, some as young as seven, were taken in vans to houses where they were forced to have sex, often with several men. Seventeen suspected paedophiles are understood to be under investigation. West Yorkshire Police confirmed that a 37-year-old man had been arrested and bailed in connection with the claims. The force said in a statement: "West Yorkshire Police take all forms of child abuse seriously and we are committed to investigating and disrupting any such abuse. "Where there is evidence of grooming our focus would be on both helping the child as a victim and prosecuting the offender." He said he would be waiting for me and he'd kill me - he threatened all my family Schoolgirl victim One girl, who was 12 when her ordeal began, told BBC Look North she was introduced by a school friend to a man on the internet. She told BBC Look North that for the next three years he and 27 other men forced her to have sex almost every day. "I went in this bedroom and had to have sex with him and then with other men, about six of them," she said. "If we were going to do anything before we went to the house, a camera would be set up in the back of the van. "He would pick us up and one would be in the back with a few other men while the others were at the house waiting." 'Slash' threat Most of the girls are believed to be pupils at two schools in West Yorkshire and most, said the victim, now self-harm as a result of their ordeal. She said she and her family were threatened with violence if she revealed what was going on. "He said he would be waiting for me and he'd kill me. He threatened all my family and he knows where I live. "He threatened to kill my Dad, he threatened to kill my Mum. He said he would kill her slow, slash her with a knife. "He said to me 'I will always be watching you. No matter what, remember I will always be watching you'." Source, BBC News I just cant express how much this is upsetting me, I'm honestly almost in tears as I write this..... Dunno whether I'm just a bit drunk and stories like this are affecting me a bit more than they normally might, but I'm seriously upset right now (but actually, I'm glad I am, proves I'm still actually human, unlike the b/astards who rape and abuse young girls...)... I just saw it on the Beeb News 24, and this story (along with the stories concerning that scumbag in Austria and the increasingly nasty discoveries in Jersey...) is just getting to me... Seriously, just what the fukk is WRONG with us men???? How can we do these things to innocent girls...? I dont even want to associate myself as being the same species as filth like this, I really dont... Am I pissed and just letting this all get to me a bit, or am I just being honest? Sometimes I seriously wish I was born a girl, but then some filthy fukkin' pervert would probably have fukkin' raped me by now...... When I see stories like these, I just think perhaps the Feminists had a valid point.....
April 29, 200817 yr Author ewww pedos should all be shot or hanged or left to rot!!!!!!! Nah, too quick a death mate... I say put 'em into general population in prison, let nature take its course....
April 30, 200817 yr it sickens and saddens me everytime i hear accounts of what men have done to these kids, i too have been moved to tears at some of what ive heard be it on jeremy kyle (lol) or a documentary. its clearly WRONG to use kids for sexual gratification, but our society puts out mixed messages, and the pop industry is heavily involved. encourageing kids to be like 'the spice girls' borders on wrong, but what IS wrong is using schoolgirl imagery in pop vids... britneys 'hit me baby one more time' for eg..and even now theres a vid featuring a 'sexy' young woman dressed as a schoolgirl stripping! (h two o's vid). you cannot have a society that on one hand (rightly) condemns paedophillia then allows images that sexualises kids.

Even when I first saw that Britney vid, I just knew it was wrong, and have never shrunk from saying so... But even that seems pretty tame in comparison to the other example you gave.... I really do believe that the Meeeedjaahhhhh sends out rather dangerous mixed messages.... I dont really approve of Censorship (I was totally against the banning of Body Count's "Cop Killer" track and NWA's "Fukk Tha Police"), but a blatant form of objectification and sexualisation of underage girls should never be seen in the same light as a genuine artisitic expression of rage against a perceived injustice....

These images are so wrong and they do give out mixed messages.
