May 8, 200817 yr Wrong in a way Scott, I used escort agencies who offered "additional services" big difference from red light district stuff, same services but a totally different discreet thing, I never kerb crawled I never used the services of one on the streets in a vice district or out of a London phone booth it was highly professional structure, big difference Amounts to the same thing mate... Try to sugar-coat it however you want... A High-Class Call Girl, WOTEVAAAAAHHHH bruv :P ..... It's still a total double-standard on your part to have a downer on Street Prostitutes who are basically victims themselves to a very great degree..... If you honestly believe about 90-odd percent of them actually want to walk the streets, then you really are a fool....

If you honestly believe about 90-odd percent of them actually want to walk the streets, then you really are a fool.... I still don't see a conflict of interest as I never ever have nor ever will procure the services of the people that I mentioned in my original post, professional escort agencies are not a problem on London's streets, kerb crawlers and street corner vice girls are, its not about me its about London and London's image, it is very bad for London's image to see vice girls in the street touting for business it is bad for London's image to see phone booths filled with "business cards", professional escort agencies whether they are moral or not are not a "blot on the landscape" for London or offputting for tourists, street corner vice girls are
May 8, 200817 yr professional escort agencies whether they are moral or not are not a "blot on the landscape" Didn't say they necessarily were, I just question your finger-pointing, moralistic stance when you've used the services of prostitutes yourself, however "High Class" they may have been... You also dont seem to realise that these agencies can make it look all-too "glamourous", when the reality is that the vast majority of girls end up abused, raped and exploited (which was the problem I had with that Billie Piper "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" rubbish on ITV2....). Legalising and regulating brothels and settin up Red Light districts in city-centres or out-of-town complexes seems to me to be the only way of combatting the abuse, getting rid of the pimps and the illegal sex-traffic, and preventing "kerb crawling" in residential areas....

I was playing devils advocate as opposed to anything else, ok maybe not even that but "virtual mayor" with a virtual task of clearing up London and improving its image to the world and to its residents and what I said about a zero tolerance policy in red light districts would 100% improve London's image regardless of any personal conflict of interest given I have procured sexual services in the past although not through street services If I was elected Mayor the things I have listed today are the things I would do to make London a cleaner and safer place
May 8, 200817 yr If I was elected Mayor the things I have listed today are the things I would do to make London a cleaner and safer place No, you'd merely give the impression of a "safer" place... Practically no New Yorker today actually believes that Guiliani's policies ultimately really did anything, it just seemed as though they did, New York is still largely a sh!thole... It's only through a progressive policy towards Prostitution, Drugs and the Homeless problem, that will truly improve matters, and yes, that MAY mean legalising Prostitution and drugs to take the trades out of the hands of the criminal underworld.... If Boris Johnson's policies are gonna be like Guiliani's he'll make himself a bigger laughing stock than he already is, and it WONT make Londoners any safer.....
May 11, 200817 yr Different day, different party in charge, no difference Well, there is a difference mate... Ken was intelligent and good for London, Boris is a fool and will be bad for it....
May 11, 200817 yr Did anyone see this weeks HIGNFY. It wasn't presented by arsehole Boris but he did unsurprisingly feature quite a bit. The bit when Reg explained his hair style...
