It seems to me that her Record Company are tryingto push her too much in america and even if she did do a UK tour i doubt it would come anywhere near where I Live in portsmouth

 

so what do you think.....

I don't think she's being pushed too much. She's been all around the world and continues to do so. I doubt she'll ever do a Natasha Bedingfield; cancelling a UK tour and then having one in the US! That's quite out of order. Leona's just doing promo everywhere at the moment to get herself more well known, hopefully a tour is soon though!

Didn't they say a tour will be coming up this year? I hope so anyway. I'd love to see her live at some point.

 

I don't think she's shunning the UK yet. I think she is working on each country one by one. When 'Bleeding Love' was released here she was everywhere. She promoted 'Better In Time' on a few shows here as well, although the performances weren't all that good.

 

She's been in America for a while because that's one of the biggest and toughest markets to crack, especially for a debut UK artist. Now that her single and album has done well in the USA she's going/gone to Australia to do promotion. I think she's just trying to be huge everywhere.

 

I don't think she'll turn her back on us, but I don't think her 'Spirit' tour will be UK only, she will probably do a few dates in each country. Hopefully most of them will be in the UK since it's down to the UK public that she's made it to where she is today. Granted, she would have probably had some success if she didn't win, but I don't think it'd be on the same scale.

I think WHEN she does a UK tour it'll be absloutely huge, dates everywhere - it'll be given the tagline "a global superstar comes home for her very first tour" or something similar. I'm actually tempted to go whenever it happens, and I've never been to a gig before!

She didn't say it, the papers did. I think a big world tour is being planned for 2010 but that doesn't rule out maybe a small one before then. I really hope so.

I thought its was said she wouldn't tour until her second album.

Oh yeah, it was said the Spirit tour will begin in 2010 because she'll be doing so much promo. I'm sure that was published before she 'cracked' America, maybe they were planning on it taking longer than it did. Either way I hope we don't have to wait until after the tour (if it is 2010) for the next album.

thats far too long to wait, If she does tour by then won't she have like a 2nd album out, or if it is still Spirit wont people get a bit bored by then. hmmm
