i totally disagree...

they are great albums, both of them....

I've only heard 3 tracks from Hard Candy so I can't judge properly. I'd say 'Like A Drug' is a million times better than '4 Minutes', 'In My Arms' is ten million miles better than 'Give It 2 Me' and 'Sensitized' and 'Miles Away' about on par.

c**p is a bit strong, but as a fan of both artists I have to say that their latest albums are the weakest studio albums they've released this century IMHO.

Ok c**p compared to their previous efforts, either way its a matter of oppinion :).

Both bad albums. And when a good song did come along, it was shared with another on the other album.

Example: No More Rain & Beat Goes On.

Haha I'm totally not doing this as my four faves are all pitched against each other and the rest all sort of blend into one for me. Give It 2 Me, Miles Away, Sensitized and In My Arms are far and away the best songs.

In my Arms is a fab song but comes no where near to "Give it to Me", that song is purely and utterly classic Madonna and nothing n' absolutely nothing comes close!! (in my opinion! :) )

I voted roughly the same number on each album, but Hard Candy absolutely slaps on X. Farrrr better.

Both albums are, let's be fair, pretty awful additions to both icons' catalogues.

 

Hard Candy is a dull, listless and calculated affair... Kylie's album is, well.... it's flimsy and truly awful in parts.

 

One thing Kylie triumphs in is artwork, however - 'X' is divine... 'Hard Candy' is one of the ugliest-ever album covers.
