For the record, I love reading all the opinions on this forum and even though I completely disagree with many posters, I appreciate their input. I mean come on, last month we had a discussion about the Chinese occupation of Tibet that actually involved a Chinese person and his/her comments! That's pretty rare. Let's not threaten to delete posts or go on ad hoc tantrums.

Put it this way, out of the 20 replies to this thread, only ONE has actually bothered to comment upon the group actually concerned within article.... Which is kind of important considering the article is actually focussing on a particular group within the Muslim community... Most of the other threads are just the usual "muslims can fukk off if they dont like it" template variety which, to me, has no bearing whatsoever on this particular article which was posted by Brian....

 

Funny how you talked about Chinese posters on another thread (which, I have to admit, being a mite suspicious of, because the posts from Chinese posters just seemed to be of the "hey, everything's fine, our Govt's great" variety with little or NO critical content at all)... We've had absolutely no comments whatsoever from any Muslim posters (mind you, we probably dont have any, they probably took one lood at the forum and decided that we were a bunch of Neo-Con, anti-Muslim racists or summat, for which I honestly couldn't blame them for thinking...), which I personally would like to see tbh to provide a bit of balance if nothing else....

This seems to be your usual template response when issues like this are raised... It's getting boring frankly (same goes for you Rob) "If they dont like it they can f--k off", yadda, yadda.. BOOOOOORRRRRRINNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!! This Forum is about generating adult debate, not about spouting off a load of BNP/Sun bollocks....

It's not an opinion, or a perspective, merely a kneejerk reaction, the sort of monosyllabic sh!t the Tabloids spew out all the time, excuse me for actually wanting something on a slightly higher level..... And the fact that it keeps occurring again and again IS frankly boring..... I don't want "copy-and-paste" templates (which I get the impression is what's going on half the time...), I want real opinions....
