Some people might say he's daft for doing this.. I think he's incredibly intelligent, and truly at the cutting edge... The amount of publicity and chatter on the internet about this is unreal.. Trent is leading the debate on Internet Music culture, and the nature of how we consume music in the 21st Century, going way beyond what Radiohead did, offereing people a choice of formats and the quality of the downloads are incredible, none of this 192kbps stuff.... The 1.2gb "better than CD" sound quality is absolutely staggering, on a 5.1 computer speaker set-up, it sounds absolutely incredible....

i completly agree with you there. Radiohead came along and done there free album release with awful quality then Trent comes along and releases 2 albums giving a selection of high quality files.

 

and even know back in the pre-with teeth days he used to do an album every three years he has managed to turn out an extrodinary album in 2007 and brought back with the incredible 'Ghosts I-IV' and then has brought out this one which is still great. Even though he is now producing quality he is still making music at a high standard.

 

The best thing for Trent is how close he is to his fans, even though he realeases albums for free, he knows the fans will still buy it!.

 

i dont have such a great speaker set up but once the vinyl comes out, my stereo will sound amazing im sure.
