May 8, 200817 yr Oh and do we know which Coldplay track it is that's eligible for the chart coz they have two on iTunes Top 10 now so I would've thought that both would appear in today's update but there seems to be only one appearance?

Is it true there's a BOGOF with "Viva La Vida" when "Violet Hill" is purchased on iTunes? "Violet Hill" is #2 on iTunes (and only Top 15 here) and "Viva La Vida" #6 (and not "Top 39" here)...
May 8, 200817 yr GA CSF and tangled up please? Single no change from Sunday, album down 3 from Sunday Edited May 8, 200817 yr by eightiespopkid
May 8, 200817 yr but the Coldplay songs have only had 1 or 2 days of sales whilst everything else has had 4 days, so you can't expect them to be that high up yet...
May 8, 200817 yr See I knew it just wouldn't have sold enough yesterday! ^_^ I think it's about right anyway tbh. Pigeon Detectives were only #35 yesterday after 3 days of sales, on the iTunes chart they were only just behind Coldplay which had one day of sales, they were never going to be high! May 8, 200817 yr I'm glad Kelly is top 15, I hope that other Coldplay song doesn't come and knock her out of it.

"Violet Hill" is #2 on iTunes (and only Top 15 here) and "Viva La Vida" #6 (and not "Top 39" here)... Its totally normal that Viva La Vida doest not appear yet... Its been available yesterday (or Tuesday?), while all other songs have already compiled sales for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so being top10 on itunes is not enough to catch the other songs yet!
May 8, 200817 yr Violet hill will be top 10 by Sunday (its so close to itunes no1 now) Am hoping viva la vida will be top 20
May 8, 200817 yr I duno about anyone else but as a Brit, i'm quite proud of Coldplay for how well their new album is doing and hope its success carries on in the rest of the world. Some may say its bland but its a hell of a lot better than some of the other utter rubbish in the chart right now (wiley) Coldplay have knocked madonna off no1 itunes  Edited May 8, 200817 yr by Robintime11
May 8, 200817 yr Coldplay have knocked madonna off no1 itunes   i reckon they 'll be top 5 come sunday
May 8, 200817 yr From ronnieross on Haven: "Regarding Coldplay on itunes. If you pre-order the album (and pay the 7.99) you get Viva La Vida right now but wait for the rest to come available in june. These sales aren't going to be that huge and aren't going to count towards an OCC chart You can also buy viva la vida (the song) as a single track for 79p. Which i'm guessing is enough to push the song to No.6 in the itunes chart. Both songs should chart then as individual paid for downloads. I'm guessing that viva la vida will be in the chart come sunday and violet hill should be high in the top ten" Hope this clarifies things. "Viva La Vida" should be just outside the Top 40 (or #40 itself then)
May 8, 200817 yr Hope Kylie can hold on in there till Sunday. Loking good so far but you never know whats gonna happen! I'm actually scared/excited/worried/nervous! A whole bag of mixed emotions......god, i need to get a life!!!!
