You've posted 2 negative comments in a couple of hours which don't mean nothing

You've just posted a double negative there.....  Ohhh, the irony.....

And, oh, I'm sorry if you dont thing that this pesky "debate thing" is actually an important argument, on an Internet Forum it kinda IS mate.. WTF is it with you bloody adolescent POP kids....? I can go on the Indie Forum, absolutely SLATE the likes of Coldplay, The Kooks, Pigeon Detectives, et al, and I sure dont get anyone making statements or suggestions that I somehow shouldn't be doing so.... I repeat the point that I made a while back - this is NOT a "let's all bum the Saturdays" thread.....

Being off the R1 playlist now is no surprise. It's been 2 weeks since the physical, which is normally when a song comes off. Also it's best to make way for the next single. Talking of which...

Up comes out on October 13th on CD...

The album comes out on Oct 20th - that's the same days as Sugababes' new album.

But your f***ing obsessed with them! Think you secrectly fancy Frankee or something -_- Stop being a grumpy old bast*rd! There's no need to be so negative and wish for people to do bad

oh do shut up!

i find it highly amusing, and ironic, that YOU of all people have the nerve to pick fault with my 'pointless' posts (which i dispute) as your postcount is?... how many posts a week do you make?... im sure EVERY one is a well thought out, balanced, pertainent, intelligent, thought provoking, constructive post arnt they!!!

i think frankie is very attractive, pity about her apparently empty head and by all accounts her poor personality. no secret there.

grumpiness is irreversable! it comes with age as you WILL find out one day.

lol That is rubbish, songs doing well don't disappear from their playlist 2 weeks after a physical release!

The truth is that it looks like the song won't even sell over 50k with all the hype so there's no point in playlisting it still.

I can't wait for Up to leak, from what I've heard and remembered, it's a far better song! And I wouldn't be against the idea of The Saturdays kicking Sugababes' old asses with their album

... plus... the media have set them up. anyone pushed with so much hype and without the material to support the hype is fair game for endless ridicule! hardly the actions of someone with a 'secret' crush on frankie!
Hopefully Up wont do too baddly, i still say Issues would make a great single though. Cant wait for the album, i dont think the Sugababes are too worried though even if the new song is vile.

Exactly.... The phrase "rod for their own back" springs to mind.... Also, the cheap-ass 'sampling' of Yazoo clearly worked against them.... A debut single is suppose to be a calling card, a statement of intent..... Let's look at the evidence..... The Spice Girls - "Wannabe" or All Saints "I Know Where It's At" vs The Saturdays - "If This is Love".... I mean.....ROFLMAO...... Never was a fan of the Spicies or All Saint, but they clearly had something about them, a quality which set them apart from the rest of the Pop Herd.... The Saturdays dont even come close to having that quality about them....At all.

And I dont recall that either All Saints or Spice Girls had 400K chucked at them or the endless, tedious hype before they'd even released a damn thing..... They became the phenomenons they did after they proved themselves....

oddly jo whiley just played itil ..

I think the playlist revealed on Wednesday comes 'into action' on Monday, so the playlist being used right now is still 'last weeks'.

i assumed that, but regardless, its jo 'cool' whiley....

Not really, considering how slow the charts are at the moment its moving down pretty quickly if you ask me.
Not bad at all, 3rd week right?

how do you make that conclusion when most of the songs above them have been in the charts FAR longer?...

Because most have a strong fanbase. This is The Saturdays first single so its not going to do as amazing as to stay in the top 10 for weeks on end!

Just wait until 'Up'...

Thats ridicolous, plenty of artists have done amazingly this year with their first single. Just a few examples are Duffy, Adele, Sam Sparro and Jordin Sparks and yes a few of the ones i mentioned did have a minor first single beforehand they still got a song into the top 10 and made it stay there for a long while without a massive fanbase.

Tell me again how long "Wannabe" stayed at No1.....

GAWD, it's really amusing to see all these deluded Saturdays fans clutching at straws......ROFLMAO......Makes for great entertainment

Aw please stop with this ridiculous "strong fanbase" thing! Fanbase don't make a single a success!

Estelle has no fanbase at all and her single is one of the biggest single of the year, on the other hand, McFly has probably the most hardcore fanbase, and their single spent like 3 weeks in the top40!

And being a Girls Aloud fan you should know having a strong fanbase doesn't do a thing at all for the longevitiy of a single in the chart! Look at the runs of singles like Whole lotta history, See the day, and on the other side look at the runs of Call The Shots, Something kinda oooh, etc.

It's ALL about if the general audience likes the song and want to buy it, that's all.

This song spent one week in the top10, two more in the top20, so no you can't say it's a great start. And unfortunately this is not the kind of act that is going to get stronger and stronger with every single release.

Oh god is this STILL going on

Leave it out Saturday Fans  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. God knows how a group like the Saturdays got nearly a 50page thread on ONE song...
