Wasnt half as bad as people made out!

It was their FIRST ever tv performance as a band and they sang LIVE. Cut them a bit of slack guys!

 

and that is the only thing they had in their favour...

 

first tv appearance?... lol.. you are forgetting that frankie and rochelle have been doing this work for 6 years now! it aint new to them!

 

it was a pitiful performance, and that a shame because i always supported sc8, i always considered sc8s material 'good pop' for what it was. the saturdays however ON THIS PERFORMANCE wont see crimbo. them bratts 'the cheeky monkeys' performed better <_<.

 

they will have to perform much much better then this, many who have performed better have long since joined the dole queue.

So I'm not the only one who think they wasn't at their best apparently.

No-one has said it was their best BUT it was their first time performing as a group for tv with a dance routine and live vocals, something many new acts don't do for their first tv appearance. I'm just saying putting everything into account, including the fact the song itself has some hard notes to hit (both low and high) - it was a good debut performance.

s club juniors did a better job of performing live then what these did

 

they aint little kids now, they are young adults with plenty of years of tv work behind them. their routine wasnt difficult ffs! :lol: walking around and psing is hardly difficult, especially for them!

 

like them if you want too, but that performance was bloody awful.

I clearly stated as a band and 2004 was the last time either Rochelle or Frankie performed for tv - over 4 years so even they were bound to have nerves. The rest are all new to the TELEVISON game and therefore were most probably $h!tting themselves!

Again i'm not saying they were amazing, but putting everything into consideration they were pretty decent. Most of the people that have joined the dole queue had $h!t material and never performed live ... thats why they're where they are.

thats where we disagree, i dont. i dont see anything about them that will last like girls aloud and the sugababes. there song is nothing special, their name is awful, they failed to perform a simple song and routine live... they aint kids, they HAVE to do these tasks in order to 'make it'.

That performance was absolutely terrible. Shockingly bad.

 

The horrible 90s-styled dresses, the dodgy dancing, the out of tune vocals. WTF @ that :|

HAHA this is sooo stupid! They were hardly out of tune, jeese. Im gonna give up but once again i will say for their FIRST, LIVE, TV, performance i think they did well.

 

Mushy, you say this songs average but have you heard their others? 'Set Me Off' is available as a free d/l from the site and is amazing, so i have high hopes for other tracks. Plus 'Up' and 'Issues' are also fantastic songs.

They really were out of tune. Irrespective of whether it was their first TV performance they will have practiced this song hundreds of times, sang it on tour etc. I'd be willing to accept a slightly below-par rendition but that was well below 'slightly below-par'; it was terrible.

 

It's a shame when someone's blinded by love for a group/band etc that they can't see the quite obvious faults in front of them...

^It's just a difference of opinion. Me and Matt thought the vocals were alright if not brilliant, you all seem to think they were shockingly poor. And what's wrong with the styling? They're the dresses from the video and are meant to look cheesy. It's part of their image. The performance overall was good (the dancing wasn't bad! It was funky!).
