She does struggle more now (not button ripping though, sorry, pip) He's a bit rougher with her as well which works really well for that scene.

see could put poppers on...

...and Meg I had visions of BT unbuttoning her own blouse when you said 'show him how'...

I don't think they would mind ripping HIS shirt open to show him. On second thoughts, the pair of them would be standing in front of him dumb and shaking so wouldn't remember how to do it. You'll have to show them, Spam.
lol, for sure I would never even mention buttons and undoing to Darius, I can feel myself blushing at the very thought - it is a shame that they didnt think to undo it a bit more though, I thnk it would add to the scenes, as he doesnt look disshrevelled enough, oh well.

Does anyone remember the cowboy type shirt with poppers? It was so funny, as fast as he did them up, the girls were undoing the. I had tears running down my face and mt ribs hurt, I was laughing so much

 I can just imagine it.

Serves him right. He looked much too good in it, even if the hat left him with floppy hair with a fringe.

I wondered why that shirt didn't get as many outings as his paisley patterned ones.

The paisley one didn't amuse me half as much. It was where some of the girls were putting their hands that I found out of order - and prompted him to move out of range. The shirt was just so funny. And, as you said, it did suit him.

At least Darius fans have had more decorum in the New London so close to him on that stage.

It looks like those in the front row could practically touch him at certain times.

I can't remember him standing close enough to the edge, except for his final words, to be able to touch him.

...not that it ever went through my mind

Any time I've been to any musical Darius starred in, the fans were impeccable but people on theatre sites hate "names" because they associate them with fans who don't know how to behave and who spoil the theatrical experience for others. They write of people giving running commentaries or singing along because they've seen the show so often, of them going in and out several times like they might do at the cinema, eating inappropriately noisy snacks and being rude when their behaviour is commented on.

Has anyone seen this ad in any other paper, daily or Sunday?

Is there any poster/ad at the New London yet featuring Jill and Darius? To me, it seemed odd that there wasn't, thinking back to the striking Chicago ones at both the Adelphi and the Cambridge and the two of Sean and Darius either side of the Edinburgh Playhouse entrance. They couldn't be missed and really drew the eyes.

I think the cvery slow start to promotion didn't help this at all. I wasn't expecting anything until a week or so before previews but there seemed very little until after opening night. As far as the general public was aware, it may not have been coming on at all.

It seemed to me that they expected the name...'Trevor Nunn' to work magic....unfortunately that hasnt worked.

I was, from what was said, expecting another wave of advertising.......eeeeeerrrrr....not sure when they are starting but it should have been with the new change in show time....

mad.....such a waste
