Posted May 28, 200619 yr ....... ok continuing on the theme of your conciousness living on outside the body.. of course if this is true them it means that there might be life after death, but maybe the conciousness still needs a base to which it can return... your body.. who is elegible? does this happen to everyone? and since when? neanderthal men? mentaly retarded people? what about people who commit evil acts? rapists, paedos, murderers? after all... you might live a perfectly decent life for 70 odd years but in a moment of madness have committed an evil act.. i see no reason for a 'cut off' point between people who are decent and people who are only blemished (ok the bible says we are all blemished/sinners so to get to heaven we need jc.... but thats a different topic really and not one that i believe in at all) if we are made by god, then we are who we are because god wants us to be like this, i dont for one moment think that people deliberately choose to become evil, i believe that we can only behave within the confines of our nature... how we were programmed at birth... im sure many gay people can relate to this, certainly the testimonies ive heard over the years make it pretty clear that being gay wasnt a choice but an inherant trait that they are born with. i do believe its the very same thing for everything else that makes us who we are, with an environmental influence too, but we are, we act, within our inherant traits.... so... therefore our conciousness is part of that and is part of how we are made, made by 'god', so how could 'he' discriminate against us for being who he created us to be! this means that we all go to 'heaven' or all to 'hell'. all have this concious life after death, or no one does...

You mentioned about the argument about gay people who didn´t chose their sexuality, but that´s not the same thing as murdering, stealing, etc... You only do bad things if you want to, you have the choice.

May 31, 200619 yr we may choose our face but then we forget... yes, how many people remember when they where less they 1 year old? The process of being born shuts you down big time. You go from being almost unlimited to your chooses, to being confined to a babies body. Humans shut down when they have a bad expereience that happens at all stages of life, you would be the exception to recall prior to birth. Hypnosis is required to regress you and get into the area's you have shut down, whether that is mess in this lifetime or before. -_-
May 31, 200619 yr Author im not at all sold on this regression hypnosis tbh... they may well come out with random stuff which is largely uncheckable.. however, supposing that the 'memory' is a genuine one, it doesnt automatically follow that its the patients previous life. if there are spirits/conciousnesses (?) souls, roaming around in the ether... all a hypnotee (?lol) might be is a mere portal for it to be expressed. like a pc logging on to a site... this would explain phenomena like 'posessions' .. etc. you see, i dont believe in reincarnation, i dont think ive been here before, nor do i see the point. as i have no recollection of prior lives then i may as well be me now and only me now!

It depends on how you view the "selection process" for heaven, if that really exists. We don´t know the criteria we´re being judged for. Some people say you need to be nice. Some say you need to be poor. Some say you just need to believe in ___ (included some religious guru, Jesus, Mohammed, etc).
