Posted May 9, 200817 yr From NME The Last Shadow Puppets will make their festival - and full live - debut at this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals. Alex Turner and Miles Kane's project will play before The Cribs on the NME/Radio 1 Stage on Friday (August 22) in Leeds and Sunday (24) at Reading. Speaking to NME.COM, the pair revealed that they would mark their side project's first full gigs in style. "These will be our first proper gigs," explained Kane. "We thought we’d have to wait until October to play, but we go the offer and thought, 'You know what, why not do it a bit early, throw one out there'." Kane also hinted what would be in store for the performance. "We're going for it. We'll play the album in full and maybe some new songs," he said. :dance: Excellent! Just a shame im not going :(
