October 17, 200816 yr Oooh she's gonna be on X-Factor. :o When? I have many Leona questions which I may as well ask in one thread. Are we definitely getting a re-release? Have we had any official word on it? When will she be on X-Factor? Any second album news? Will the single be released to iTunes on the Sunday after X-Factor and the day before the physical release? Ethe will know the answers i'm sure. ^_^ :P

Info here: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75183 - She's on X-Factor November 15th even though the song is out November 3rd which is a bit strange. - Not much about the second album. She's starting it at the end of this year and apparently some unused tracks from the Spirit era have been saved for it so it can be done quicker. Also think Ne-Yo will be working with her again. - Don't know when the single is on iTunes but she's performing on XF after the release.
October 17, 200816 yr Hmmm, a bit weird on the X-Factor front. Oh well i'm guessing it's to promote the re-release of the album as opposed to the single. Which is where the money's at so you can't blame them for that. ^_^ As for the 2nd album, I don't quite like the sound of the leftovers from Spirit being used on the second album just to speed it up. I don't like it when artists do that because surely there's a reason why they weren't included on the first album? Regardless i'm sure Leona (or Simon) wouldn't release something that was rushed and sub-standard. The re-release is rather exciting. :o Definite purchase! :D The cover is stunning, plus just to have Run as a studio version is reason enough to buy it. :o Oh and thanks Ethe, I knew you'd be able to inform me.

Can't wait! Well we only know of one song called 'Perfection' which was recorded in the Spirit era but I think was deliberately held back for the second album. That might be the only one though, have to wait and see. :) No problem!
October 17, 200816 yr Thats rather starnge about the X-Factor but as Kelly said, probably to help the re-realese instaead.
October 17, 200816 yr Forgive Me now released on Irish iTunes (its already @#29) so likely it'll be getting a UK release digitally only on Sunday. Makes me think the X Factor performance will be Run, to promote the deluxe. FM promotion will be done by then.

They could be trying to show Leona's diversity and show that she can do more than ballads (and thus perform either Forgive Me or Misses Glass) or they could play it safe by knowing that the UK loves Leona's ballads (evidently) and give us a live performance of Run. I would love any of the above to be honest, Forgive Me on the first show and Run on the results show would be sublime however. :kink: Take note Cowell! :P

MG or FM would be great on the show, really show a different side of Leona. However, I think Run also does. Its a bit more rock than current Leona material (BL/BIT/FITS/FM/IWB/Homeless/AMLT) and is also the perfect song to get the MAXIMUM reaction from the X Factor performance - if she nails this like she did the Live Lounge Performance, it literally could be the 2008 equivalent of the Bleeding Love performance and blow everyone away.

Oh I know about the 2 performance thing, i'm just being a fantasist. :P Agreed about the rest. ^_^
October 18, 200816 yr FM up to #13 on Irish iTunes. :) Great they think it's strong enough to release now without the XF performance. They have faith in Le. :D
