I know I have at least 12 :) Do you think album covers were much better in the 70's and 80's than they are now?
May 10, 200817 yr i reckon album covers of the 70's were still heavily artistically influenced by psychedelia of the 60's... hippy stuff... acid... lsd.. mushies!!! so i reckon 70's albums were far more artistic.
May 10, 200817 yr Apart from the Floyd and Gabriel ones, I'm not keen on any of their other designs. Best era for design? The 80s... 4AD employed 23 Envelope in this period, and their designs for Cocteau Twins, Throwing Muses, Dead Can Dance... best album covers ever IMO.
