Anbody wanting to/have seen this?

 

I saw this yesterday and I really don't know what to make of it. I certainly didn't think it was a horror film, was more an action film with small bits of horror in it, but it certainly wasn't what I was expecting from the trailers. And with the final big scene I was laughing more than anything. :lol:

After really enjoying the first two films from this director - Dog Soldiers and The Descent - I rather was hoping for an enjoyable Sci-Fi/Horror/Action romp in the mould of 28 Days Later in a head-on collision with Escape From New York and Mad Max - The Road Warrior... Well, it is basically a sum of these three films, but it has absolutely NONE of the style, wit or verve of these films... In short, it's a tacky, third-rate rip-off of three vastly superior films... I am so incredibly disappointed, especially given that I KNOW the director can do so much better than this guff....

 

The final "big action" sequence was filmed in South Africa by the way - nowhere NEAR Scotland.... :lol: :lol:

It just ripped off so many films didn't it? I thought it was quite enjoyable, but nothing like I was expecting it to be.

 

I'm not suprised the final scene was filmed in South Africa. It looked nothing like Scotland. :lol:
