Posted May 28, 200619 yr RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist JOHN FRUSCIANTE hated recording the band's latest album STADIUM ARCADIUM. The BY THE WAY axeman admits he did not enjoy the recording experience of their ninth album. Frusciante says, "It wasn't a happy experience - I went through a lot of weird phases and did a lot of worrying. "Mixing the album was a drag because it's not a very creative process. But now we're going into a freer period of time. I can meditate and practice more now." This is an article taken from ContactMusic. :(
May 28, 200619 yr The funny, because I'm not enjoying SA as a "listening experience" in comparison to their previous two studio albums. :(
May 29, 200619 yr I'm hoping he means that the album took too long to produce and not that it could be the end of the chillis after they've giged around the world.

June 1, 200619 yr Author Well there's no news on him being sceptical of remaining with the Chili's so I'm assuming he meant it took WAY too long to record.
July 9, 200619 yr Well if John really felt this way i understand, SA was a poor album for the RHCP but i read in my guitar magizine in a interveiw with him tht he enjoyed making this album? I am confused
