I've been hearing alot of people talk about an artist called MANU CHAO?? i've heard 2 tracks from him and yeh seems ok just wondered if anyone had seen him liv at all and if he was any good? any songs you reccomend ???

Best thing to do is have a look around the Specialist area or in the 'World Music' magazine Songlines - that might be a better idea...

 

but of what i've heard Manu Chou/Manu Negra - yeah worth geting some of their stuff you should be able to get his last album very easy - also you might like Rachid Taha (Rock El Casbah :below: ) or Les Négresses Vertes

ive just found out he's playing at a couple of uk festivals this year so i'm quite tempted to check him out at one of them.

 

I know he's headlining the Lovebox festival in London and groove armada are also playing which would be good but i think their both also playing at glasto but i doubt i have a chance of getting a ticket to that now ! lol

 

Anyone know anything about lovebox ?????? is it $h!t?

Went to Lovebox last year, had a wicked time

 

Not that big a fan of glasto anyway, went in '05, and my tent got flooded, all my stuff was floating all over the place, and it's overpriced, considering the washing facilities consist of one cold tap per field!
