The follow-up to Voyage Voyage, and shaping up to be another European hit. Was until very recently #1 on the Swedish I-Tunes chart.

Number 10 in Germany. I think she her previous songs were better than this. BTW she samples a lot of french hits.
I heard it before on the radio, nothing special but very sticky, like Avril's "Girlfriend"
Still Cant believe she didnt get a place at the Eurovision with Je T'Adore  Je T'Adore was AMAZING! This is really good too! :)

Kate received a "made up" international ship out award yesterday for already "selling" 100.000 units of Free.

It's been or will be released in 26 countries, but obviously not in the UK

I wonder where she will sell the 100k? For now the album only charted @ #60 Sweden and #26 Belgium.. The single on the other hand is doing a lot better (#2 Sweden, #9 Belgium, #10 Germany, #14 Norway and #31 Austria)

The album is up to #4 in Belgium, her 2nd best chart position ever, and debuts at #46 in Germany. The single is now #8 in Belgium and #9 in Norway, and debuts at #66 in Switzerland. The song is currently on the Finnish and Spanish I-Tunes top10.

it's a shame UK record companies choose not to promote foreign language songs here because I think this could be quite big, for example if it came out on Hard2Beat

I don't think it would work in the UK tbh, usually foreign language hits in the UK are novelty ones like Gasolina or Asereje.
only because they aren't given a chance...even though it's in French, the chorus is incredibly catchy and sticks in your head, especially the 'do do do do...do do do do' bit

If the song can be successful in other countries, then it will likely to be a hit here.

It's not usually true with Eurodance music unfortunately... It's great to finally hear the English version and see that it exists... it's a very literal translation though they did avoid the line about "l'histoire du peuple noir"... Anyway, I guess it will flop, but I'll buy it when it's released for sure :)
