I'm not sure. I want her to release a real pop album in the vein of Light Years because that to me is what she is best at and what she is most loved for. But i love her recent stuff, despite the fact it's not been very sucessful outside her fanbase (is that fair to say, i dunno, i suppose i was expecting a much bigger reaction since it was her comeback of sorts  )

What do you think?

Before you ask, no i not wishing X to be over :P i'm just curious :D

I hope it features some of the electronic-type music from X, yet also some of the pop sounds.

i would like an album with a style similar to either:

the one wow and stars from x- pure pop but with soem dancy elements

or

IBIY, BPM, made of glass and givng you up- that was a good period but very short

i wud like an album with a mixture of songs of good electro with a strong pop feeling to it although th ebnext album i want is another live album from the x tour

yes a tour album would br cool

get those new songs=)

I would love a tour album

Either an Re-release tour edition of X (like she did with Light Years and Fever ) or a Live Album, or Both :yahoo: :yahoo: it's quite likely actually, she's only had 2 other studio album tours and they both got Tour Editions :D and the Showgirl Homecoming CD was really sucessful :w00t:

showgirl did great for a live album it did far better than i thught it wud,and yes i hope x get s atour edition but what id love is a re release that had a bonus disc of live tracks and maybe some of the songs she didnt put on x and i really think that wud do very well and add alot of sales to x in th eprocess
Light Years has grown on me something tremendous this week :o Amazing album. She's never really had a distinct 'direction' with any Parlo album...Maybe some more Xenomania work though. They're the one producer I'd love her to work with again.

i agree light years is her best studio album so far

yes if the next album had more songs like the one and like a drug and some wow's to i would be happy

I'd say something like the combination of KM 94 and IP, it's time for Kylie to do what she wants, rather than what you guys want her to do.

But Kylie is doing the music she wants to do and enjoys making. Honestly, it doesn't hurt to think before coming out with these things you keep coming out with.

I don't really mind what direction she will go in, because her albums have been a mixture of sounds, but I love them all, they all have great tracks.

I would love it if there was a re-release. I think they may have done one for Body Language, but it didn't do so well as they thought.

I disagree. I think loads of us (at least me :P ) would love a second IP. But i know it will never happen, at least not for now. Therefore i would love another outright Pop album (and maybe another nu-di-ty type track - i know it's not that popular, but i love it :w00t: )

Not necessarily. There's no way we can know what kind of album Kylie intended to make with X but we know that she had to battle to get songs like No More Rain on the album at all, so I wouldn't say she has the final say when it comes to direction.
