Just surprised it's taken this long. She seems to eat, sleep & drink Will. I think she'll be more upset than us when this round of promo ends or maybe she'll find some time to devote to her BORING favourite. :P

The same things said over and over and over and.................

I wouldn't know - the ignore button is a great invention.

Someone else (Ethereal) asked why LIG wasn't on iTunes. Surely it won't be there until Sunday.

They keep droning on about how he grabs the limelight, but doh!! isn't that what his promotion on these shows is about. He's not going to stand in a corner of the room, unseen. Or maybe she/he/it wants just that - as they evidently don't want to see him promote.... anywhere any time soon, and can only fire off cheap shots about his appearance and performance to comment on - over and over. Tough titty - deal with it.

They probably expected it be downloaded, but it affected his album - which is more important. LIG has risen from outside the Top 100 two weeks ago to #37 in today's updates. Not huge sales admittedly but at least his promotion is having an affect.

Why are people so obsessed with singles!!!

Edited by munchkin

I've no idea why people are so obsessed with singles today munchkin, maybe it's because it's so cheap and easy to download? Me and my friends used to go into town on a Monday and a Saturday and actually go and buy our favourite songs, then swap with each other during the week, that way we could buy 6 new songs each week. We used to have girlie nights, where we all took our singles collections (which we kept in those little snazzy carry cases) and dance and have a laugh together, at whose ever house it was "their turn" that week, happy days.

I read a comment the other day that Quote:" Downloading is the way forward because it allows music to be available any time any place anywhere"

But where does that leave people who don't want or, more importantly, have access to gadgets to do that

In limbo and frustrated.

Unfortunately downloading and singles are joined together like Siamese twins so, unless you tune in to an 'adult oriented' radio station the music you hear is identical to I-Tunes top 10. It's all well and good but, imo, the downside of it is that it's possible have lots of old songs charting high - some of which were not thast great in their time :P I see Madcon - Beggin' is back in the charts again

Can you imagine Will bringing out an album like this

Why can't DVD's be made to record more than 4 hours on LP?

And as for fannyann or whatever she calls herself - she's on my ignore list. It's a pity she hasn't anything better to do than spew out her venomous comments - you could almost set your watch by her.

Bless Ronan though, it is for the cancer charity after all and his lovely mother died from cancer in 1998 didn't she? I think all the proceeds will go to that foundation fund he set up years ago. Terrible song choices though and I definitely don't want to hear his version of Vincent, my favourite Don McClean song.

Money can still be raised without the need to do cheesy covers .....and it's not like he only brings out original tracks but did these covers just for charity...this is the norm for him

I still haven't recovered from the last rendition of Suspicious Minds. :o That tracklist is more proof why she needs to constantly discuss Will...... http://williamyoung.biz/forums/images/smilies/icon_sleep.gif

:o The single is the only one missing from my collection, adding SM to the duet was the final straw.

Oh my goodness what a dreadul thing to happen. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-scared009.gif Just had a "happening" with my computer, and when I finally got it back on, all my passwords had disappeared and I'd been logged out of D and here and probably everywhere else, but I haven't checked yet.

I remember the one for here, but never the one for D. Finally got through though. Trouble is I had all these written down, but just before Christmas I must have thrown them out together with my address book, as I can't find either :drama: How's that for stupidity.

My son occasionally clears all my cookies etc. to keep the machine in good working order so I have to renew my passwords.

It's been snowing again here, it better go away now!
