I wish Pumpkin/ hayley/katie/tingtong/make my day/lostthewilltolive/kate/melle193 [ she admited to these identities *Amanda looks like her latest incarnation, the same phrase's and wording in all her identities, i was right about all her other identities and *Amanda* posts exactly the same]would get lost on DS 95 posts and they are all her ranting on about Will she is seriously demented...her massive amount of identities all over the net is frankly embarrassing i have no problem with someone not liking Will and posting their thoughts, but she just comes out with wild conspiracy theories and venom just for the sole purpose of upsetting other fans...she must spend hours scouring the net looking for info on an artist she detests she has not been the same since Ronan flopped, she started to get really negative and vocal when Will was made the headline at the princes trust concert and the further Ronan as fell the worse she gets about Will

I just felt the urge to comment on Amanda's several posts. Ignoring her hasn't seemed to have worked in terms of her leaving the Will thread over on DS alone. Just wanted express my opinion on some of her rantings.

 

As for Lemar's career being in decline, maybe no-one is shouting about it or maybe you haven't looked carefully enough - fair enough, it would be a waste of precious time to look for these sort of things! - but I actually don't see many people talking about Lemar at all. That's say enough.

 

Thankfully, Will's career still is very healthy, as you say :) but it's true that there's been a dramatic decline in both, album sales and concert ticket sales. There wasn't nearly as much panic about getting tickets for the last tour as there was for his previous ones, and he played to far fewer people in total this time. Twas a fantastic tour, of course :dance: and I hope there'll be more to come. Personally, I don't mind smaller tours/venues, but it's a shame Will isn't having the scale of success he deserves. :blink:

Many Will fans have posted in there that they have her on ignore but they cannot avoid what she is saying when she is quoted. The whole off-tune singing accusation of hers puzzles me the most. :huh: I've heard him accused of sounding like a goat when he sings (which is not very nice, but it's still an opinion), but this is the first time I've seen posts by anyone who dislikes him saying he's off-key. It's just not factually correct and it cannot be a matter of opinion. Actually, I think I might call it a vicious attack and a lie, if she makes a similar post about one of his pitch-perfect performances. The more I think about it, the more it riles me, actually.

I had a feeling the comments about Will singing off-key was the catalyst for you answering her back. I know you are a singer and have seen a few of your posts regarding vocals.

 

This is interesting because it CAN be scientifically proved. Someone did it when Will did World Idol and my son has put a graphic sound/pitch tester - like the thing that monitors your heartbeats - against Will's vocals and they are evenly spaced over the whole graph with no huge peaks and troughs . Proving that he is pitch perfect, and not only that but his vocals occasionally mirror the pitch of a musical instrument.

I think ignoring her WAS working, the posts were becoming less frequent over the last week or so. I have her on ignore so to see her bile on display miffed me a bit, as normally I can't see it. Not that I read these quotes...I just scrolled past them. Quite pleased with myself I can do that quite easily nowdays without feeling the need to read them

 

Unfortunately , shes now climbed back on her soap box which is all a bit tedious...she WANTS a reaction Toni, you can't reason with a plank like that :wacko:

We all manage to carry on posting over there because we do have her on ignore and refuse to let her vitriol close the thread altogether.

 

If you seriously feel the need to debate with that person, then that's up to you, but I really wish you'd do it without quoting her, afterall we've been weeks posting around this person and now, she think she has an opinion that really matters.

My son was playing about and said look at that! I didn't have a clue what he was on about and he explained how practically 100% of the time Will hit the sweet spot. If this person says Will sounds off-key then it's how they are hearing his vocals in their ear that's the problem - but they are never going to admit you may be right and they are wrong, and it's us who cannot hear what they can. Of course we can't!!!!

 

It's like I've said so many times - music is a very personal experience and we all hear something different. That's what is happening with this person but it's just using that as a feeble excuse to carry on it's campaign of hatred.

#10 "Cruel to be Kind" offers some tasty, subtle percussive and instrumental treats, and Will's writing skills and styling makes this song dazzling. #11 "Over You" is a way sexy groove, and it cooks! MmHmm. #12 "From Now On" to my ears has a southern USA vibe to it, sort of a jazz-bluesy/country/bluegrass and it is all good.

 

#13 "Fine Line" Dramatic, majestic instrumental wizardry weaves a tapestry of mood and visual imagery that supports Will's glorious, deeply emotional vocals. It evokes chills. This song alone gives the CD the seal of a true Masterpiece

 

This man actually says what my son found out for himself - that Will's voice can mirror that of a musical instrument.

 

What this person spouts means diddly squat in the big scheme of things. They are just p***ing into the wind.

Are all these people also deluded - it would seem so :cool: Just because it doesn't like Will's vocalisation doesn't mean he can't hold a tune - as they are suggesting.
