Terry Venables has snubbed Steve Gibson's offer to become manager of Middlesbrough, which is good for Boro fans IMO as I don't rate him as a manger, and now it seems Boro are going after Martin O'Neill who is also being linked with the vacant managers job at Sunderland :blink:

 

Rumors in one of the papers today were saying that Venables is in the pipeline to beome Steve McLaren's assistant for England, which i'm un-sure about, but its just a rumour.

Venables has been a completely useless manager for many years now. Any Middlesbrough fans should be very happy he turned it down - especially if Martin O'Neill, one of the best managers in the country, takes over.
