Posted May 17, 200817 yr I decided to make such a topic aswell :P i think i'll go alphabetically  places are if the song is in the final already -------------------------------------------- Albania << Olta Boka - Zemrën e lamë peng \\ 9th Amazing entry this year. Very talented girl... but i think the language in which she's presenting the song will make some difficulties in achieving top results. Let's hope it won't. Andorra << Gisela - Casanova \\ 14th It's one of those bland songs that i can't stand listening to for more than a minute. Armenia << Sirusho Harutyunyan - Qele Qele \\ 2nd One of the most promising and mysterious entries of this year's eurovision. The introduction is just incredible but the another part of the song reminds me of 'Casanova' :( Azerbaijan << Elnur Huseynov ft. Samir - Day After Day \\ 20th The introduction is amazing, like of the Armenia's entry. This won't do well in the contest - that's obviously. And the only hope is the great show on 22nd and hopefully on 24th May. Edited May 17, 200817 yr by Pavel
May 17, 200817 yr Author Bosnia & Herzegovina << Elvir Lakovic "Laka"- Pokusaj \\ 8th It's strange but i absolutely loved all the entrants from this country, especially 2006's 'Lejla'. And this year is not an exception. The melody is charming and the language makes this song so greatly. The english version of it wouldn't do well in the contest imo. Bulgaria << Deep Zone & Balthazar - DJ take me away \\ 3rd Two songs challenging in this year's contest and it's one of them - bland lyrics, cheap music, predictable scenario of the song - what else can i say ??! -_- Belgium << Ishtar - O julissi na jalini \\ 12th Ethno beautiful motives and the voice of the woman singing it can't make me indifferent to this song  Belarus << Ruslan Alehno - Hasta la vista \\ 10th This song is just meh imo. People on some Eurovision forums in Russia say that they will vote for Belarus/Armenia/Azerbaijan/Georgia even though they don't like the song. I don't get it at all and now am saying it with the relief.
May 17, 200817 yr Author Croatia << Kraljevi Ulice & 75 Cents – Romanca \\ 24th I laughed so badly when first heard the song  No offence Croatia Cyprus << Evdokia Kadi - Femme fatale \\ 16th Not bad - i can say tbh, but the chances of qualification into the final are so poor unless Cyprus will make something kinda Lordi this year. It's hardly seems possible to be honest  Czech Republic << Tereza Kerndlova - Have some fun \\ 17th "If you wanna have some fun - don't run" i absolutely love this part  The melody and the lyrics are quite okay Denmark << Simon Mathew - All night long. \\ 21st Catchy song, in the European style imo but it won't get much of the attention from the televoters in the contest although i would vote if there haven't been some other great entries. May 17, 200817 yr Author Estonia << Kreisiraadio - Leto svet \\ 24th This song amazed me in a very bad way when i heard it at first. 3 minutes of unstoppable tasteless 'music', inability for understanding the lyrics and 'talant' of the band. FYR of Macedonia << Tamara ft. Vrčak & Adrian - Vo ime na ljubovta \\ 16th Definitely it's much weaker entry from Macedonia this year comparing to 2004-2007 entries. The female vocalist is great but if alone :kink: Finland << Teräsbetoni - Missä miehet ratsastaa \\ 20th I have the feeling this band hopes for repeating the result of Lordi but they have no chances. The song is a bland heavy-metal/rock sample that doesn't make even a piece of the Lordi effect in 2006. but i quite like this song :kink: France << Sébastien Tellier - Divine \\ 17th There's no wonder why France doesn't succeed in this contest in the recent years. But this year's entry isn't as great as last year's one - "L'amour à la française" with the guy running around the other members of the band
May 17, 200817 yr Author Germany << No Angels - Disappear \\ 25th One of the potential flops of the contest. The song is quite bland, something like a clische i can call it that. Georgia << Diana Gurtskaya - Peace will come \\ 20th I have reasonable doubts for telling that it will do well in the contest. Blindness won't make any sense but maybe a little. I also saw the live video of Diana and it didn't work for me to love this song though I know Diana for a long time performing in Russia/Belarus/Ukraine to my knowledge. Greece << Kalomoira Saranti - Secret combination \\ 4th Amazing song. Starting to become my favourite of this year personally   The lyrics, the music itself make me shiver. Plus this greek folk music is absolutely gorgeous. Hungary << Csézy - Szívverés \\ 18th The same impression for me as Georgia's entry :( Edited May 17, 200817 yr by Pavel
May 17, 200817 yr Greece's intro will sound f***ing amazing in the hall, I can say that with certainty
