Rachel Stevens has revealed that she would be willing to strip off for a "full-on sex scene".

 

The former S Club 7 singer has put her music career on hold and is currently trying to secure roles on the stage and screen.

 

"I'm with an acting management company. We're looking at the script for a great romantic comedy play at the moment," Stevens told the Daily Record. "Some of the scripts I've read have full-on sex scenes and stuff like that but that's part of it. You've got to go for it."

 

Rachel explained that acting classes have helped her to overcome her fears about taking off her clothes for a role.

 

"It's basically about being fully truthful in the moment and putting your attention on to the other person," she said. "It taught me that when you are in the moment and take on a role, that it doesn't matter about these things.

 

"You're not thinking about yourself, so don't have that awkwardness about being naked in front of all the crew."
