Produced by Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn & John in just four days, it's preceded on July 14 by the Can't Go Back single. Guests include Lovefoxxx and Little Barrie. Yttling said: "It's much more pop and Krautrock than before. It sounds a bit like Alan Vega and Suicide." Are any of you fans of the band, and are you lokking forward to hear how it sounds?

Are any of you fans of the band, and are you lokking forward to hear how it sounds? well if they are using Suicide as a reference rather than the Rolling Stones then yeah could be very intersting indeed - though shouldnt the quote say Kosmiche [Musik] rather than Krautrock - as that term is not very PC.
May 19, 200817 yr Ach, you'll be telling me Japrock isn't PC enough either. I'll be interested to hear this...much as I love the sound of Suicide, I've never heard them called 'pop' before. Although I really like 'Country Girl', 'Riot City Blues' ultimately didn't do much for me.

I'll be interested to hear this...much as I love the sound of Suicide, I've never heard them called 'pop' before. well its the simplistic conservative mentality that guitar music only can = rock - and any form of electronic music is pop (?!?!?) - probs because the status quo of the cultural cool at the top stages of media are i guess around 35 and their 80s obsessions/ideas of synthpop and electropop has filtered down thru cultural society whatever intersting electronic avant-guard happenings might have occured pre-1982 however saying that i think suicide had a song that used the word Punk in about 1974 - think i remember reading that in Mojo.
