I dont know if anyone has seen this documentary about Edwyn Collins' rehabilitation post-hospital recorvering from MRSA and his brain haemorrage - but its very well worth watching - even tho its sad to see him in that state - but good to see him touring again - even tho he still has troubles with his playing (think all the guitars are provided by Roddy Frame on tour)

Yes, I saw that this show is repeated on BBC2 tonight at 11:20 PM.

His lead single from his last album was better than 99% of the tracks Radio 1, who of course snubbed this beautiful soulful track, as most Radio 1 listeners probably think you have sound like a banshee being swung around by a gorilla (coughs: Beyonce, Mariah Carey circa 1995-2002, etc) to be soulful. Surprise surprise this was a Radio 2 Record of The Week.

Edwyn Collins - You'll Never Know

Hopefully I'll remember to watch it, instead of American Dad on BBC3!

Yeah you HAVE to watch this documentary - if you like him you must watch it as the struggle he has gone thru to get back to normal - its inspiring - give this guy an honor now!!! - its not as easy watch as the Soul Britainia bbc four docs as it deals with the aftermath of illness -

and anyway American Dad will be repeated about another 42 times on BBC three - so no contest

That was a brilliant, emotional, deeply moving show (plus good to see the likes of Paul Cook, Roddy Frame & Bernard Butler).

But it begs the question why was it hid away on BBC2 after Newsnight, instead of being shown when Madonna performed rubbish at the Radio OneWeekend on BBC1?

Its because it was a BBC Four show originally and that slot is the 'BBC Four on BBC Two' slot (eg in previous weeks before was about Parrell Universes.....well apart from the dimentions where it was a concert by Eels that was repeated   )
