The contest has gotten back onto the right track this year!

So far...I think splitting up some of the countries in the semi-finals will have helped for now. But once we get to the final the voting will still be predictable. I wouldn't be surprised if Serbia ended up winning again, but if it's one of the countries that gain from that sort of voting, I hope it would be Armenia or Ukraine as I like their entries.

I remember one year, and they may have done it more than once actually, they did release the results for the ones who didn't qualify. Can't remember whether or not they did that last year though. I guess they couldn't though this year with the jury vote and stuff.

in 2005 the results of the full results of the semi-final were leaked a couple of hours before the contest...I know because I put money on Romania about an hour before the contest as they had won the semi!

 

in 2004, they flashed up the results of the non-qualifiers at the end of the sei-final

2005 was one of the latest times when the song wins without participating in the SF :o I do hope Spain Serbia will break it this time :heart:

I wouldn't be surprized if Serbia won it again, it's a very nice song.....it's a bit safe though considering it's in the same kind of mold as last year but it'll get top ten I'll bet.

Semi-final got 351,000 on BBC3, with a peak of 475,000 during the last 15 minutes. ^_^ Not bad for a multichannel. :D

VERY good for a multichannel isn't it? :o Did it beat any terrestrial channels? ^_^

 

And I don't think Serbia will win, I reckon they're headed for a No Name-esque result ^_^

I think it came sixth in its slot overall after the five terrestrial channels, which is pretty good going. :D ITV2 may have been higher, but that wasn't reported.

I liked Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Slovenia, San Marino, Israel. Slovenia should be in the finial.

 

Leto Svet from Estonia is soooo pointless. :lol: And also, Greece, I don't like it. Too much Britney Spears style. :/
