Only Turkey and Portugal to go now.

I like sweden but she hit alot of bad notes today, it is a proer eurovision song arrangement wise.. she has had too much botox tho i agree boyan  and i think i mean't east before, i just went off on a rant
I don't see the fuss over Ukraine, she's stunning yeah but the song isn't amazing.. armenia/iceland/greece/sweden are much better imo!

Turkey at #12, Portugal get #13.

There you have it - the final draw of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. :w00t: See the first post for the whole thing.

armenia/iceland/greece/sweden are much better imo!

And Poland

^ just that now she doesnt stand a chance

She probably doesn't thanks to Eastern Europeans flocking into Western Europe and then voting their old native countries and also they do have plenty of those neighbouring countries as well. Finally we saw thanks to two semifinals total c**p entries such as from Slovenia and Macedonia failing to qualify - in the past that $h!t of them has qualified solely thanks to neighbourly votes. But no worries this year for Eastern Europe since they have even less neighbouring countries to choose from in the final and therefore such horrendous entries as Albania's and Croatia's were will do very well. I really think only the finalists should be allowed to vote in the final or just simply have different competitions for Western Europe and Eastern Europe.

Totally agree... cba sitting through athat many countries voting aswel... i love the voting process but 25 is enough! But which would southern europe take part in.. such as greece/cyprus... western? or eastern?

The only thing about Eurovision that needs changing is the voting. Only finalists should vote ffs. Totally illogical for countries who aren't in it to be voting, it really is.
^I'd miss Greece in the contest if they didn't take part in the western one :( and i guess the contest would be boring if split in to 2 as we wouldnt get songs with a different sound to them, that we get from the east... they really do need to sort the voting out...maybe group blocks or something.

The voting certainly should have been changed already this year but I guess they fear that some states wouldn't broadcast it if they weren't allowed to vote and therefore have this ridiculous system. I bet we will get on Saturday a very different winner than we would have with 25 countries voting (unless some country gets a Lordi like landslide). At least some of the Eastaern European c**p missed the cut thanks to this two semifinal change.

I would count as Eastern Europe ex-Soviet states and all old Warsaw Pact states (communist states) so my definition for Eastern Europe is not totally based on geography but also by the past of the state and therefore I would count countries such as Greece and all Nordic states Western.

Oh yeah they will. I reckon they'll get the 12 tbh as they'll have all the Lithuanians in Ireland voting for them too...
