Stuk Chocolat,(aka Robby), Jens Speh, and Jerome Allison have packed it in, as well....Jens and Jerome were the discographers....

I don't know if any of the rest of you have noticed, but 5 of the moderating staff at Unity have stepped away from their roles as moderators there....as I understand, for personal reasons....I respect their decisions to step down, and salute them....

 

5? I only see three mentioned in the announcement.

 

I'm wondering if something happened to cause them to make that decision. :o It seems so abrupt.

I may have been mis-informed as to the other 2, Jens and Jerome, departing as moderators.....but, the other 3 have definitely given up their duties, with Kerry now pursuing other interests, and she'll not be around Unity much, if at all, anymore...

As far as I know, it's Kerry, Lizzie, and Robbie that have departed.

Kerry and Robbie pretty much ran the forum though didn't they? It was only really them and Aurora that I ever seemed to see anyway... Lizzie seemed nice though. ^_^

Kerry was the biggest contributor, IMO.

:o :blink: :( Gosh, that's a shock. Like everybody else, I wonder why? I know I wouldn't like to be a moderator and have to deal with people's shenanigans and craziness, though. I think they get blamed for some of the, um, odd Unity rules that are laid out by whoever it is from Aigle that made the Unity rules. :cry: The moderators follow the rules, they don't make them, but they seem to get blamed for them.

 

Oh well, whatever the reason, I certainly wish them well. My experience with them was always very positive. :D

Oh yeah that's true Grace, they do get blamed a lot of the time for Unity's rules! In fact I've probably been guilty of it in the past. The terms of service on there are, in places, just bizarre tbh and certainly need loosening up slightly!

I read the letters they left as they departed, very poignant I must say. They'll miss Kerry's work in particular!
