It is named after a Belgian entrant Barbara Dex who wore a dire dress in the early nineties. Here are this year's results... The Barbara Dex Award is the annual price for the worst dressed artist in the contest. The visitors of this site can vote for their favourite. The award is named after Barbara Dex, who represented Belgium in the 1993 contest. She wore an awfull, self-made dress that evening. The 2006 Barbara Dex Award has been won by Nonstop of Portugal with 196 votes. Second in line was Lordi of Finland with 89 votes, followed by Iceland's Silvia Night with 75 votes. A few facts about the 2006 Barbara Dex Award: A total of 906 votes were casted. Thanks to all people who voted! A total of 34 countries got points, thus only three countries (Israel, Norway and Switzerland) gained no points at all.
